Like myself & Eagle have stated on this thread we both feel Darchinyan would be victorious in a rematch & would love to see it happen. But Shaw has taken Darchinyan back to the top & I suppose Darchinyan is happy with the way things have gone & I assume he is showing some loyalty to Shaw by standing by his side in his decision as I would in someone who had done good by me.

That is what KILLING my favorite sport of boxing...
its like Don King hates Bob Arum but hey they still work if it makes sense.. dont you think Darchi vs Donaire makes sense?
No I don't think Darchinyan/ Donaire 2 makes sense... at this time! Darchinyan/ Montiel is the better & bigger fight to make!!!

As VD has stated... if they keep winning then sure it will hopefully come to fruitition but Donaire 1st has to make it past Martinez & hopefully Darchinyan & Montiel can get together.

At the moment theres no reason to see Donaire ahead of Montiel because Donaire has done nothing at 115, whereas Darchinyan & Montiel have basically cleaned out the division between them so their fight makes the most sense, plus it will crown a true Ring champion at the weight! After that fight I would definitely be interested in seeing the rematch before Vic starts looking to higher weights...
Since the time Donaire KO'ed Darchinyan cold, a Donaire-Darchinyan rematch fight always makes sense... There could be other sensible fights for each of them but their rematch always makes sense at any time... unless Donaire will say it doesn't make sense since the outcome will be the same, he will KO Darchinyan again...

We didn't claim Donaire is ahead of Darchinyan... Darchinyan made good progress beating named boxers after he got KO'ed cold by Donaire while Donaire was relatively inactive mainly due to managerial and promotional problems...

And you can't say Donaire has done nothing at 115 for he was the NABF super flyweight champ before he moved down to 112 to face Darchinyan...
