He is only 22 and he has the time to develop a style which emphasizes defense and minimizes his exposure to big punches. He doesn't need to rush into anything.

However, not being able to handle punchers, isn't just an insignificant weakness, it's a downfall.

I'd like to see him in with Maidana, Urango, or Campbell, but maybe he isn't ready for those tests yet. It wouldn't be a big deal, like I said, he is only 22.
This sums up how legitimate Khan's claim to being WORLD CHAMPION , he is WBA champion but not ready for certain contenders ? lol bullshit politics.
For me he needs to fight a legit world class puncher and showcase his skills , and win , someone like Maidana , then he will show his true colours. Its easy to look improved against lesser fighters.
I agree with this red stuff above.

Khan is supposedly a champion now and in the big league. But I haven't seen him beat a top fighter yet (and don't even go near the Barrera fight!). Khan needs to face someone decent, but I don't think he will. We will see Warren milk him as long as possible before the inevitable throw into the wolves. Might be a good while yet.
The fault is with the alphabet "world" titles not with Khan. Loads of "world" champions are not the top of their division.

Recently some Barrera fans were happy to see he has a chance of becoming "world" champion again by fighting Paulus Moses for his WBA title. There are 7 fighters ranked above the "world" champ according to The Ring, and Saddo ratings doesn't even have him listed
