Same here, bro. Cotto's punches had no effect in slowing down Margo, despite making his right eye that was already damaged by Pacquiao swell up. He just kept on coming like Cotto's punches weren't anything and his punches were effecting Cotto. Say what you want, but you can't load up a chin.
Yes, fabulous win for Margarito tonight. Cotto didn't belong in the same ring with him.
I'm not sure how I feel about the stoppage, but I find myself agreeing with Kellerman here.
Cotto!!! Well deserved victory
He felt he did no wrong and boxing has allowed him to continue. Shame on humanity and boxing commisions then, but Margarito didn't grant himself a license. There are a lot of people to blame and bigger fool Cotto for not checking the wraps in the first place. Stupidity and blame abound, but you get over it and you move on.
I will not hate on anyone other than Amir Khan for the duration of a lifetime.
Yeah - we all know Margarito is a tough hombre. He might think Cotto hits like a girl, but only one guy got spanked like a little girl in the ring tonight.
Perhaps, but we cannot say with any certainty. And even in the event that he did so, I believe in forgiveness. A man commits a crime, then we rehabilitate, we do not put away forever. If he doesn't try to cheat again, then I don't really mind him fighting. Cotto should really have checked his wraps in the first place. It would be like me coming to class without my materials. You have to do your preparation properly.
A case of what was was and that everyone should move on and learn from past mistakes.
I believe in forgiveness too, but only for those who deserve it. Having courage doesn't make Margarito any less of a cheater, and he has been a belligerent and blatant liar ever since he was caught. I have no respect for him as a person or a fighter and I thoroughly enjoyed watching the beatings he took in the last two fights.
