David Haye copied Sultan's tactics EXACTLY...he even "retired" like Sultan did, although Haye has since come back.

I was wondering about that. Beats father time himself in Holyfield then comes up totally narcoleptic with Wlad and then...poof? At 33 off first loss. Was he permanently injured in that one? Javier Mora. Wow.

I have only been posting on here a while and im already sensing a pattern emerging with a few posters...tito no offense friend but take a bit of simple advice, stop watching him then! If he bores you so much! You seem to have seen a lot of his fights for a man who is bored to death by him! And you seem to take every opportunity to show your disaproval with the old cliche "i like wlad but....." thing!! Iggy v wlad was a boring fight, but they are men cut from the same cloth, they are cautious, intelligent fighters who produced a horrid style clash (calzaghe v hopkins was terrible!) Don't judge either man on this particular unification fight.

"What did Ibragimov do when in the ring with Wlad??" Same thing as everyone does against prime wlad, lost! However he put on a better display than anyone since peter 1.

"This guy is very intelligent and a very good fighter, her doesn't look impressive, but he is very effective, I will not underestimate him, he won the silver medal at the Olympics.

Manny – "I understand what you are saying, looking at (Sultan) him closely, I think he will be the best fighter Wladimir fought in his pro career; he is not a big guy but he knows how to win big fights over big guys, has hand speed, he explodes and moves away quickly, he makes most big guys' size a handicap, I told Wlad this will be the best you have fought. We are not taking him lightly."

You seem to have taken exception to my posts from the very beginning, so I'll extend the same courtesy to you regarding my posts: "Stop reading them, then."

You need to understand something, my "friend". Not everyone that does not worship Wladimir Klitschko hates him. Some of us have been around long enough to remember when the HW division was exciting, and yearn for those days to return. If you take that as a slight on Wlad, go right ahead.

I've done nothing but heap praise on Wlad, concentrating instead on criticizing the effort of his opponents. But obviously this bothers you also. I'm only "knowledgeable" if I cave to your belief that this is the most exciting time in the history of the heavyweights, and that Wlad has been in some competitive, spell-binding, fingernail-biting battles, with some formidable opponents. So sorry to disappoint you.

I keep watching the fights because I love boxing, and because I hold on to the hopes that someone will step into the ring to actually fight Wlad, instead of looking for a soft place to land, and collect a paycheck.

Again I reiterate the problem with extreme fanatism: You either love the guy and worship the ground he walks on..... or you're a hater and unworthy of any consideration. I encourage you to go back through my posts about Wlad and dig up any unwarranted hate you can find. I also encourage you to remove your blinders and realize that the HW division has seen better days.

I've been on your personal agenda from the beginning. Care to discuss what your basic problem is?

It's a bit pointless to not read what is said on my thread isn't it? Don't take things so personal, im just making certain evaluations on what i have read so far.

Im sorry you are not entertained though, there's me thinking this is the art of boxing and the goal is to perfect the sweet science to the point that you become nearly inpenetrable. I'm sorry wlad's genius leaves you befuddled.

Do you think i.e joe frazier would pose a threat in this era?

    I fixed your typo.

But to your point...... to each his own. You like watching impenetrable boxing defense coupled with scared shitless opponents hardly daring to throw a punch in anger...... whereas I like two fighters actually trying to do bodily harm to one another, and actually trying to win the boxing match.

Again..... you keep harping on me not liking Wlad....... and I keep correcting you in that I'm not happy with any of Wlad's opponents to date. I'll keep repeating myself as long as it takes for the message to finally get through, no problem.

Dominant champions sometimes make it look too easy, that's just what happens. I mean when Michael Jordan dropped 63 points on the Boston Celtics in the playoffs of 1986, it looked easy, but that was THE Celtics....Bird, McHale, Parrish, Ainge, etc.

There are sometimes contenders who would do great in different eras and other times there's just a dearth of contenders. I think there have been some really solid fighters that Wlad has beaten, Sam Peter (when motivated) was extremely good, Chris Byrd was small but very capable I think he was underrated as a fighter to watch because he would utilize proper defense and throw flurries of punches, and Lamon Brewster was good although his time at the top was relatively short lived.

You remind me of when I was younger and didn't know as much. Seen as though a true master of his art bore's you, let me point u in the right direction if you want excitement:

    See:

    Oleg Maskaev TKO12 Hasim Rahman
    Sergei Liakhovich UD Lamon Brewster
    Lamon Brewster TKO9 Luan Krasniqi
    Vitali Klitschko TKO8 Corrie Sanders
    Chris Byrd D Andrew Golota

I can highly recommend smoking bert cooper fights too. Keep on rocking tito.....
