You're seriously comparing having a sly bottle of cider down the park with your mates at 16 17 to a grown man taking advantage of children? Please tell me I've read that wrong.

To borrow a line from the much missed Steelie you're cutting your cloth to suit Miles. You're presenting an image of a stream of sexually aware young adults who are more than willing to jump into bed with a grown man knowing full well that its wrong but doing so regardless. That might have been the case in some instances who knows, even then he's still wrong and breaking the law.

Instead of asking yourself where on Earth can you get away with fucking kids, ask yourself why many victims of abuse don't say anything until much later in life, or why victims of abuse remain abused even when they know that its wrong and that they are being abused.
