I don't see the problem with Froch-Kessler 2 in the slightest it was a lot more exciting that Froch-Ward or Kessler-Ward and it was a very close fight. I don't see any problem with Froch wanting to avenge the loss and Froch is highly rated after battering Bute. Ward is fighting Pavlik, how is that a good fight?

I have no doubt that if Froch can beat Kessler he would love to fight Ward again, why does Ward think Froch wouldn't want this rematch too? Froch has said on many occasions he wants the rematch but after Kessler. I think Ward is annoyed because he's not in the limelight.
My opinion is he's jelous, he hasn't lost a fight since he was 14, BUT Nobody gives a shit about him. If he retires tomorrow not too many people will care.

    I certainly wouldn't.

Yet 2 guys he's already beaten is MASSIVELY boring fashion are having their second fight and the rematch will likely be the the fight of the year.

Mayweather? Bullshit, his fights are generally boring to me too, although he'll make more money.

For boxing fans Froch/Kessler has to be the biggest fight this year.

    Unless Canelo/Floyd happens.

In my opinion he is boring because he spoils, holding mauling, elbows, headbutts and why does he do this? Firstly because the refs seem to allow him to but the main reason is because he doesnt want to stand in punching range in between actually throwing punches because hes shit scared of his chin letting him down again.

Watch the last few rounds of the Bika fight and its embarrasing for the division that this man is regarded as the best purely because hes let to use shitty tactics with no warnings at all!

This is why fans are turning off of him. Admittedly a better boxer wouldnt allow him to hold and smother. If Calzaghe had been coming through now he would be the man to beat Ward. Hopkins usually successful tactics didnt work against Joe, although he went on to beat and frustrate lesser men like Pavlik, Pascal and Cloud (Dawson fought in his own division, if he hadnt had to lose another 7lb he may well have done the same to Ward). Joe wouldnt allow Ward to dictate the pace, Ward wouldnt be allowed to maul and hold. Joe would have been working him over and what Ward looked like in the last few rounds against Bika he would have looked in the middle rounds against Joe, lost!

    Agreed.

Plus Calzaghe was faster than ward.

Ifs ands or buts sadly have no place in boxing, we can speculate as to who'll win but by the sheer fact that upsets happen we can never know for sure.

I enjoy Ward because I enjoy Hopkins fight as well. I can understand why some/many do not but in all honesty his fight against Dawson was not boring. Also since he is the man of the division he can shit talk anyone he's beaten before. It is after all the right of the conqueror over the conquered.

That being said I am genuinely surprised that Froch isn't in most people's top 10 p4p. Really the man is great and people's obsession with an undefeated fighter is just silly. How Broner and Canelo are considered better than him is beyond me.

I'll even say this. I think he is the best British fighter post Lennox Lewis era.

He may have a nice list of names on his record but he has a loss to someone Calzaghe beat and Calzaghe faced the highly rated undefeated version and this was all at the same weight. So therefore Calzaghe must be the best fighter Britain has produced.

Lewis had a nice longish career at world level but was very inconsistent, getting knocked out twice, a draw, a couple of gift decisions then ending his last fight flopping on to his stool spent.

Lewis was a good fighter but he could be beaten

If I may, all boxers can be beaten, it should not being a notch against their greatness. It merely exemplifies the wide array of challengers they faced.
