Again you are the one who loves a boxer with no great names on his resume, if Floyd had beat Martinez, Williams, prime Cotto and Manny he wouldn't get credit from you anyway.
I've given Floyd plenty of credit....is it horrible of me that I wish the best fighter of this era to challenge himself? Is that so terrible of me? I mean I wanted RJJ to challenge himself when he was on top of his game....nobody called me out on that.

I think you are confused you sound like the emotional one, I've rooted against Floyd many times I'm just realistic you sound like one of those casuals who say oh Floyd he isn't so good Manny would have fucked him up.

I'm most assuredly not confused. The topic is about what Roberto Duran said about Floyd Mayweather Jr. I agree with part of what Duran was saying and therein lies the problem that @Onetime and @imp have with me.

Fine, you appreciate floyds skills but theres still an underlying tone that you think hes a chicken.
You might INFER that but I did not specifically imply that nor would I.

They show Wlad's fights on Epix sometimes, they don't even show Vital fights, they are K2 they reign over a dead era they aren't a thought to most US fans.
"$23,333,330 The bid is the third-biggest winning bid ever and far exceeded expectations".....that's for Wlad vs Povetkin...."dead division" 3rd largest bid ever. Yeah he's REALLY hurting for fans in those huge soccer stadiums.

My fault I pretty much consider them one person named K2 or The Kilts, same point they are Golotas who got lucky
So blatantly admitting your lack of understanding about boxing...brave move

You want to talk about money? Let's compare Floyd's vs Wlad's purses since you bring it up.

How come I bet you blow GGG for Ishida , Proksa and Rosado while dumping on Floyd?

I don't care about K2 other than to mock their delusional fans

Go ahead, Floyd can move up and down in weight classes, he can pick and choose who to fight, Wlad's division is stagnant. Not because it's devoid of talent but because once you hit heavyweight you stay there, there's no superheavyweight division for guys to come down from and the cruiserweight division is for overachieving light heavies and underachieving smaller heavyweights very rarely do you get a cruiserweight who can successfully move to heavyweight and contend.

You bet? You sure do make a lot of assumptions about me...I'd be careful doing that.

I actually made the no where else to go argument earlier, Floyd isn't ordinary I don't even like him as a person but if you don't get he's an ATG than I don't know what to tell you

I pegged you as a K2 fan based just off your political views, you love GGG don't you?

    Kabong,

What on earth do you think floyd does everytime he steps in the ring?!

Every fight is a challenge for any boxer!

Fine, you appreciate floyds skills but theres still an underlying tone that you think hes a chicken.

Durans style is perfect for floyd and always will be..

What's so "warrior" about my responses? I'm not challenging anyone to fisticuffs on here, I'm not "dissin" anyone's mama, I'm not doing anything other than verbally bending you over my knee and spanking you with the facts.

If you agree with imp's statement then....if we're intellectually honest with ourselves....you have 0 trouble with the Klitschko's and the heavyweight division because it becomes not a matter of WHO is fought but THAT they are fought. No doubt each fight is a challenge, but some are more challenging than others...you wouldn't equate a fist fight with a prime Tyson to a fist fight with Joan Rivers would you?

You said every fight isn't a challenge like you would know, I wish you would have the guts to say what you really think.

Because I do know, fighting Prime Ali isn't the same as fighting Peter McNeeley that's just common damn sense.

What are you assuming that I'm holding back Onetime?

Come on now, read between the lines.

What type of challenge do you want?

You said it. What type of challenge must floyd take?

Obviously, duran took all the challenges.

What challenge does floyd need to make him duran(isk)

I like the Alvarez fight, I don't like the catchweight, especially after Floyd didn't bother making the weight vs JMM and he gave Pac all that shit about catchweight fights and I'm no Pac fan either but fair is fair. If you're going to give a guy shit for having catchweight fights don't fucking turn around and make one for yourself, it's hypocritical.

I'd like Floyd vs Martinez or Floyd vs Pac...not that I'm a fan of Floyd, Pac, or Martinez but as a boxing fan those are big event fights. Floyd simply doesn't have the Leonard's, Hearns', and Duran's to fight....to his credit he did fight Shane & Oscar albeit at the end of their careers but those were still big wins.

Duran was a workhorse his record is 103-16, he took quite a few challenges he also fought long after his prime was over. I don't want or expect Floyd to do either of those things, I just want him to fight the best available fighters out there on a level playing field. That last part is just pertaining to ring size, catchweights, etc I have never and would never accuse Floyd of any underhanded tactics.
