Chris Byrd wouldn't have given those guys a run? Tony Thompson couldn't? David Haye? Lamon Brewster? Calvin Brock? I think Chagaev, Povetkin, and Ibragimov were good fighters, but their styles don't match well with Wlad's. Jameel McCline would have been competitive with those guys. Sam Peter catches a lot of hell but he was a good fighter.

I guarantee you all those guys mentioned would have at least been competitive with who you mentioned.

There are few things in life that you can guarantee. Wlad laying on somebodies back like the pusillanimous dead eyed donkey that he is, while you sit on the sidelines milking your man udder in shivering delight is one of them.

Oh I'm sorry all I seemed to get from that is "I can't argue on the points so I'll just make an emotional statement to try and get Lyle off his game....you know, like a woman would do"

But hey, you want to argue that way fine, all it means is you'll keep insulting me and I'll have won the debate. So enjoy your hollow victory MISS Beanz

Victory ? Are you really that one dimensional ?

If somebody can not conduct himself in his day job, the job on which his reputation is built, in an honourable manner, then surely it is fickle, duplicitous and downright stupid to suggest that he is a good role model? Everything else is stuff and nonsense.

Are you suggesting that to suggest so implies that I have an irrational hatred of the man simply because he is not British ? If so then it is plainly not worth debating the subject with you. Weird really because if you feel Wlad has nothing to answer for, you are surprisingly indignant and all over every Wald/Povetkin thread like a persistent rash.

I'm on every thread about this because people are making the very same mistakes in their arguments which are #1 they don't understand when a ref doesn't call a foul it's not a foul #2 All fighters foul if they can get away with it #3 Any fighter can have a fight that's not fan friendly
