What surprises me is the criticism that some have for Froch here.

Why exactly?

The ref, I can understand.

Yeah dont get it either the stoppage was shit but hardly frochs fault, and I think he was goingn to grind groves down he had three more rounds to do it and I'm pretty sure he was gettin it done.

Because there isnt such a thing. If you dont go down then its either a stoppage or not as far as I am aware. (doesnt change the fact the ref intervened too soon)

Not true...plenty of fights where one guy might buckle a bit or wobble back an lean on the ropes and get a standing 8 count.

Seriously check the rules, I do not think this was an option for the referee in this fight.

I don't really think Groves was that hurt , he was just getting caught , that's boxing.
I think Groves could have easily recovered and fought on to win.
Rematch is all Froch can do to save face.

I dont need to check the rules, maybe you should watch this around 1.30 , the guys buckled , wobbled , all over the ropes but doesnt go down and gets a standing 8 then goes on to win the fight
