Not to single you out, but you posted in this thread that you had Kovalev up 6-something at one point, which would make it impossible for Ward to win with the knockdown.

Come on inspecta ? Wards regrouping round and he took it. He had spurts of sharp shooting but clearly forced to play catch up and had to react in addition to being hurt multiple times. As well as dropped. He was credited more for just plugging back in fight and not plugging ahead!

I'm just saying that if you gave kovalev round 7 (or anyone else for that matter), it would seem like you were the one with biased judging because Ward completely dominated that round. It wasn't even close.

We all need to watch it again with the sound off and perhaps see if that might change your decision.

Rematch must happen now anyway but unfortunately for kovalev, ward will be better next time.

Clear and fair point. Fans going in very easily merge rounds into a favorite but they are strictly 3 minutes..or less. Better than scoring by round, score by each minute and avoid even rounds.
