I dunno, I think the only saving grace was that every judge had it 114-113, perhaps not a robbery as much as extremely generous to Ward, it could have gone wideish to Kov. I'll have to watch it again, although it wasn't a great fight.

Could it be that there is so much ward hate around here that everyone is extra sensitive and may have even been extra generous to kovalev?
This fight yet again makes me realise how great Floyd mayweather is..
Close fight but I don't think a champion should loose his 3 belts like that.
It's all about the rematch which unfortunately will be harder for kovalev as it will be in the states again and Ward will be better this time.
Ward needs to cash out.
Ward won the Electoral Votes
Robbery.
Lederman's 116-111 score for Kovalev was correct, props to him.
Kellerman was a disgrace as usual, showering absurd praise on Ward during the fight.
Come on inspecta ? Wards regrouping round and he took it. He had spurts of sharp shooting but clearly forced to play catch up and had to react in addition to being hurt multiple times. As well as dropped. He was credited more for just plugging back in fight and not plugging ahead!
Sergey Kovalev (30-0, 26KOs) defends his light heavyweight titles this weekend at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas against Olympic gold medal winner Andre Ward (30-0, 15KOs).
And according to Kathy Duva (who's company, Main Events, handles the career of Kovalev) there is a rematch clause in place.
"Of course, when the fight was made it was not a mandatory so we have the rights to a rematch if Sergey is not successful and Ward could also ask for a rematch also but it's a little complicated, the clause," said Duva.
Coming into the fight Kovalev is the owner of the WBA, WBO and IBF belts. The fight will be carried by HBO pay-per-view.
"There's no doubt that we wouldn't be doing our jobs if we didn't protect Sergey's titles. It's one of the reasons I worked so hard to get the WBA, WBO and IBF to make this their mandatory so we don't have a mandatory problem coming out of it, so we can make a rematch," she explained to Boxingscene.com
"If Sergey were to lose you'd absolutely see a rematch," Duva added. "If Sergey wins it's not quite as certain."

See what happens.
Close fight, American judges leaned towards to American, I had it to Kov but I don't think it was a robbery as such.
Just frustrating that the judging was so predictable, their only saving grace is that they all had it close on their cards as well.
I'm just waiting for a certain someone to be summoned to the thread and start pedalling shit again, which is almost as predictable as the judges
