I'm not advocating the fight, far from it in fact.

But the fight doesn't make Floyd a pussy, someone has told him he can get the 50 by fighting someone who has never had a professional bout and he can earn 100 million or whatever, bit of a no brainer for him.

On the other hand, you can fight him in a cage with tiny little gloves and get a real beat down, Floyd says "no thanks I'm a boxer not a UFC fighter, I'll sit on the millions I already have and keep my teeth thankyou very much"

Fight doesn't make sense but it is an easy nights work for more money than you me or either of our families will make in several lifetimes.

I get a bit tired of hearing the money arguments all the time. Is that really what people think life and achievement is about? How much money you can make from doing as little as possible? There is such a thing as integrity.

If Floyd wasn't a pussy, then he would get in there and fight a ranked fighter. He is a charlatan. He fought Manny when his fire diminished, he took Marquez two weight classes up and wouldn't make weight, he fought Baldomir, he took Hatton up to WW, he fought Berto who was shot, and now this.

It would make some sense if the supporters were in some way in on the deal, but they will be getting fleeced by seeing their favorite fighter fight a complete novice. Where is the satisfaction in that? Don't they at least want to see something with a little meaning? 'Floyd will make blah blah million dollars therefore it all makes sense!'

I have often said that I do not understand the human race and an event like this makes me stand by my declaration. I will have to retreat to the secret boards and comment on this issue no further.
