I agree, it is quite awful X. What makes a government think it has the right to occupy or govern anybody? If the state is rubbish then you should reject it. All the state has is force and it relies on people doing nothing to resist. In this instance people rejected the state and it is a model that elites don't want to see repeated. They won't let the people leave quietly. You see it with the UK too, but in a more subtle way. If you want to leave the EU then leave immediately and damn the consequences. I am all for self reliance. Grow your own food, build your own weapons and turn your back on mass concentrations of power. It's one reason Iceland is so excellent and the EU is rubbish. You need to know the names and faces of everyone in charge, have them within reach and be able to remove them quickly.
Cornwall and Devon were originally part of Wales. In 838 the West Welsh fought the Saxons at Callington about 30 mins over the border in Cornwall form where I live, but I digress. I have just had a friend return to Barca after coming back to Plymouth for Family business and he has posted up a video of Catalan Police having to protect a School from Spanish Police and their fascist tendencies. Nothing from the EU condemning it, but also nothing from the PM or Boris either. They are as bad, unconnected, bureaucratic as each other.
Brexit is a complete mess under these Conservative wankers who have no regard for the public and are interested in their own personal games of power and ego.
Boris is a complete an utter useless cock and should have been sacked ages ago.
May is hanging on by her finger tips.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Nigel Farrage will be returning to UKIP which will be targeting Tories who have wilted from their duties in enforcing the will of the people. Should be a welcomed sight from the Labour perspective as May is injuring the Tory brand already.
It should be rather interesting going forward.
Farrage is another opportunist who left UKIP because he knew there was no need for it and was still going to keep his European pension the hypocrite.
2 years wasted by these dicks in government.
Labour should be miles ahead in the polls but they are struggling for support mainly because they see Corbyn as unelectable.
There is a long process for May to resign yet and another general election to be called and it is the last thing the country needs.
Total pig's ear of a mess.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
David Cameron 'asked Barack Obama' to make 'back of the queue' Brexit warning
https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politi...obama-12836776
David Cameron asked Barack Obama to issue his famous 'back of the queue' warning about a post-Brexit trade deal with the US, a former advisor claimed today.
Number 10 insisted at the time that the US President was using his own words when he made the comment, during a press conference with the former PM ahead of the EU referendum .
But there was intense speculation at the time that the remark may have been scripted by Number 10, because the word "queue" is rarely used by Americans, who tend to prefer the phrase "back of the line".
Mr Obama's then-foreign policy speechwriter Ben Rhodes has now revealed that the comment came up during a discussion between the US and UK sides about the implications of Brexit , and said that it was Mr Cameron who suggested the president should repeat it in public.
But Mr Rhodes stressed that Mr Obama believed that the warning was correct.
Speaking to BBC Radio 4's Today programme, Mr Rhodes said: "We had come here to try to help the Remain campaign and we had a meeting with David Cameron and his team and we were all kind of in violent agreement about the negative consequences of Brexit.
"And in talking about the press conference they were going to hold together - Cameron and Obama - we were discussing the arguments for the Brexit campaign."
Well that ain't a good look at all.
