All the people currently in hospital around the world being treated for the virus are in there with something that doesn't exist?

Neither of us have any kind of medical training or sophisticated knowledge about viruses. We have to go on the evidence as we see it.

On one side of this question about whether the virus exists or not are thousands of the world's top epidemiologists, virologists, medical experts, hundreds of thousands of doctors and millions of healthcare professionals not to mention millions of dead bodies and tens of millions of people who have had the virus.

On the other side are a small bunch of terminally stupid and/or mentally ill people on the internet claiming with zero evidence that the virus doesn't exist. Surely considering the preponderance of evidence on one side of the argument and the complete lack of evidence on the other side it should be up to the nutters to provide some evidence that the virus doesn't exist and the whole thing is some kind of conspiracy?

none of what you have posted states how you know there is a virus. you are stating something is real & i am asking you to tell me how you know this to be true. we both know you can't but you can't admit that. you only have a belief

Neither of us have any kind of qualification or expertise in virology or epidemiology and neither of us have access to any of the various healthcare and disease control systems around the world that are dealing with this virus so neither of us have any actual personally attested evidence that the virus does or does not exist.

We only have observable reality.

On my side of the argument are thousands of virologists and epidemiologists, tens of thousands of doctors and medical specialists and millions of dead people killed by the virus along with tens of millions of people infected by it. The wealth of evidence that the virus exists is incontrovertible. It would be impossible to construct a conspiracy so elaborate and so we can say that there is literally no other explanation for the events of the past eighteen months other than the fact that the virus exists. The fact that the virus does exist is basically an uncontested fact among all political stripes and ideologies worldwide, even among the vast majority of American conservatives.

On your side of the argument are a small number of terminally stupid and/or mentally ill people who insist while offering zero evidence that the virus doesn't exist.

so you admit you don't know & are just happy to believe. there is no fact that the virus exists because you would be able to tell me how you know that is true

I do know that the virus exists. I'm saying that I don't have the physical proof that it exists in my hand. Even if I did and I was in a position to give you the physical proof you wouldn't be able to understand it.

The virus does indeed exist. We have isolated it and genetically sequenced it. We literally know its DNA. We have tested hundreds of millions of humans over the past year and a half and found that tens of millions of them have been infected with a virus with the exact genetic sequence of SARS CoV-2. This exact virus has killed millions of these infected humans. These are unarguable facts.

The only people disputing these facts are a collection of halfwits and/or crazy people. If you think you can dispute these clear and unambiguous facts then go right ahead.
