    None of that changes the fact that PBF is better than Hatton in every facet of the game. I like Hatton, I was hoping against all logic and reason that he could beat PBF, but if they fought 10 times, PBF would win 10 times, regardless of who the ref was.
    I disagree, Floyd only won by cheating and the dodgy ref, if Hatton wouldn't have had the point took off then he wouldn't have started rushing in getting tagged so easy, he lost his focus after the point deduction and yet the shot never even landed

    Hatton lost at his own game, you apologists had no shame when he roughed up and wrestled Tszyu with elbows and a few lowblows.

    You lauded Ricky as the next coming, until of course he took a head 1st shitter into a ring post with the aid of a perfect left Hook form the one and only PFP#1 Boxer in the World today

    Hows bout that!

    ...if only they had a belt for those who well kinda did good for a while against mayweather. Hatton lost, bottom line, if he wants to prove anything fight witter. Hatton was a good fighter before floyd and will be now, he's just not on the same level (just as any other fighter for that matter right now anyway) as mayweather, and that really isn't saying anything bad about hatton. If hatton would have won the fight using the same tactics or hell even more than floyd did nobody would care. Hatton lost because floyd is simply an all around better fighter, i don't see why that is so hard to swallow. I mean really..floyd even cheats better than he does. I'm no more a floyd fan that anyone else and i'm actually getting tired of defending him but right now he is just the best boxer there is..reguardless of how big an asshole, how much money he throws around, how he treats the enviroment, he could even commit some major crime and it wouldn't make him anything less than the best boxer there is. I know how some of you feel, i hate the kobe bryant (and anything laker related as a side note) for the same reason many of you hate pbf, cause they're the best at what they do and continue to whoop the team i root for. And there's no real indication either of anyone taking either of thier places anytime soon. P.S. saying floyd won every round against hatton is crazy...i don't feel he was ever any real threat to floyd the whole fight, but he did give as good of a showing as he could, and did better than I and maybe floyd himself thought he'd do.

    That says a lot about Hatton. Great fighters don't lose there focus. So it's no surprise he did

    Hatton lost his focus when the ref was being a cunt yeah but no one can say that was the main contributing factor to the loss, hatton was dominated pretty much throughout the fight even before he got angry. He threw more than floyd, yet practically none was landing.

    Still, he has nothing to be ashamed of, he got in the ring with the best in the world and he gave a good fight, I think he'll bounce back in style but I don't think he'll ever defeat Floyd, infact I don't think anyone will.

    The commonly perceived best Light Welter in the world is a joke?

    A fighter that at worst is on the border of top ten pound for pound is a joke?

    A fighter who has not only beaten Kostya Tszyu, but stopped him is a joke?

    A fighter who has KO'd JLC, is a joke?

    I dunno about that.

    What I do know is this;

    You sir, are an abysmal poster. You've proved this before of course.
    I thought you had abandoned your sinking ship the last time we debated.
    Yet, you return with the same putrid brand of tripe that you have served up here since your arrival.

    You have proved yourself on numerous occasions to be lacking in knowledge; in relation to boxing, it's participants and it's practice, but since your ressurection from the depths of saddoboxing's septic tank, you have added to your outstanding repuatation.
    You are also a small minded, ignorant fool who instead of offering opinions, invests his time in broad stereotypical statements in a faint hope that you will find someone to agree with you.

    Let me simplify this for you.

    You're a crap poster.

    To the forum;
    As a Ricky fan I did not take offence to the post LawHoops submitted, I merely cannot stand idly by while he makes an utter tool of himself in every thread he participates in.
    I'm fully prepared to be a martyr to the neg reps I will now receive in order to illustrte what a muck-bad poster he is. If a mod wants to delete this, or who knows, me, then so be it. I'm sick of him.

    Floyd is the best boxer in the world, I realise and recognise that.

    I'm a hardcore Hatton fan, always will be, but I'm a boxing fan first and Floyd beat Ricky bad. Real real bad. I bet on my man the minute the fight was announced, it's ironic that it was with you JT and I've only quoted you to once more display my disappointment and give Floyd his dues.
    He did make me a fan that night.

    However, at 140, Ricky was, is and will continue to be the man.

    If you read Mayweather's quotes or listen to the HBO interview after the fight you will realise PBF certainly thought Hatton was one of his toughest opponents.

    So to dismiss Hatton as a second rate fighter based on a loss to the P4P best, who then comes out to the press to call Hatton a great fighter, is very premature indeed.

    Hatton is still the best at 140, however needs to cement this fact with victories over Malignaggi and Witter within the next year.

    Hopefully Witter produces a perfomance of note on Saturday, to make the fight with Hatton a massive British soprting event.

    I think a big reason Floyd gave Hatton the respect he did after the fight is because he never dealt with a guy who just kept coming forward even when he was getting tagged left and right...Gotta respect a guy that determined

    I love the Hatton Neg reps..... I laughed when I saw him summing up Hatton in one line, then -51 at the top of his post..
    No other fighters have passionate enough fans to stand up for their man when people shit talk them..

    I've counted down the seconds to getting negative reps after some of my Floyd posts, but they never came... I think I even got a few positive reps.

    Anyway, it's just another cool aspect to the forum... If you talk shit about Ricky on here, you better have a good freakin reason or your getting negative reps.... It's great!

    + Fenster pointed out that it wasn't the first time Hoops was just being a hater for the sake of it...

    You need at least 2000 posts here before you can go around calling belt holders "jokes" and not expect negative reps
