If you read Mayweather's quotes or listen to the HBO interview after the fight you will realise PBF certainly thought Hatton was one of his toughest opponents.
So to dismiss Hatton as a second rate fighter based on a loss to the P4P best, who then comes out to the press to call Hatton a great fighter, is very premature indeed.
Hatton is still the best at 140, however needs to cement this fact with victories over Malignaggi and Witter within the next year.
Hopefully Witter produces a perfomance of note on Saturday, to make the fight with Hatton a massive British soprting event.
