    1. Pac

    3. Joe
    4. B-Hop
    5. Izzy
    6. Cotto
    7. Pavlik
    8. Mijares

    All decent enough fighters

But couldnt hold a torch to the hitman

This hatton embargo has really got to stop...

    fights 44 - won 43 - Drawn 0 - lost 1(to the greatest P4P fighter of our era) - KO 31

    2 Weight world champion
    won 5 different world championships
has stopped greats like kostya Tszyu and jose luis castillo

fernando montiel, nonaire, mijares are all much more established champions than this?

Something tells me youve been drinking from the same deluded glass as VD!!

in micks defence i think the best way to rate a fighter is by look at their ahcivements but also thier skill and technical ability and it would be fair to say the likes of miijares and calderon are more techniclly skilled than hatton

I was thinking of putting him in the #10 spot on my list, but out of the 45 fights he has 2 or 3 wins that are truly impressive. He was badly outclassed against PBF as well. I like Hatton, but until he beats someone of note he is off my list.

Joe Calzaghe is the best p4p fighter at the moment but there could be some interesting developments if as he says his next fight is his last

Pav looks on the up, Cotto is too and maybe Juanma may become a superstar in years to come. Oscar may have a final assult on the p4p ratings too if Hatton changes his mind and fights him .

    Why's that?

Hes beaten every guy he has ever fought . Hes been winning at world class for over a decade. He has beaten unbeaten champions and American legends.

Who else can match that record? Theres some decent up and comers but nobody whos reallt that proven. Cotto and Pav may be a threat in years to come but right now I cant see anyone who can tough Joe p4p .

Well, Sven Ottke must be 1 or 2 spots behind him then. Cuz he defended his title more than Calz did.

Since we're already in this silly conversation, why don't we throw in Chris John! he is undefeated and defended his title and beat JMM...shouldnt that 1 win against a legend already make him p4p king?

Thats funny cause thats all Calzaghe has is a win against a faded legend who is in his mid 40s!.. Not late 20s,.. but mid 40s.

I think Pac's record matches and easily surpassed Calzaghe's.

Nonito Doniare was actually a thought over Chris John but with the fact he has had so many less fights then these other guys I left him out all together. I do think he is as talented as most on the list though.
