Ross i don't know what your problem is but your acting very immature and stupid for someone that has supposedly boxed, i said RJJ was losing at that point in the fight, but he never looked in any trouble Griffin was just doing that little bit more. Until the 7th round when Jones knocked Griffin down then Jones started to have an easier time with Griffin, and as for you quoting my comment about certain knockdowns are different in boxing of course they are that is obvious isn't it ?? some knockdowns you can be off balance, some knockdowns can be down to you being caught cold etc theres many different variations. And as for your comment regarding Barkley, if you have watched the fight you should know Benn was badly shaken in that fight by a left hook from Barkley, and he hit Barkley while he was on the canvas 3 times and he should of been DQ, Toney never looked in trouble and gave Barkley a boxing master class. And for you to say Toney struggled against Barkley is damn right absurd and ridiculous. And you have seen majority of Calzaghe's fights so what ?? so have i i've got his career set. But outside of that your knowledge is very limited, you said Jones was floored by Telesco when that was BS and lies, and you said Toney struggled with Barkley which is BS and lies.

One last question which are Kessler's best wins ?? Craig Cumming, Librado Andrade, Anthony Mundine, Manny Siaca etc ??

Toney's best wins before the Jones fight were Merqui Sosa, Iran Barkley, Mike McCallum, Michael Nunn, Reggie Johnson, Tim Littles, Charles Williams, Doug De Witt, and titles at two weight classes and he was top 3 P4P fighter at the time, to say even consider that Kessler was rated higher than Toney was at the time when Jones fought him, or too even say he was a better fighter, is ludicrous and shows you know nothing about boxing and your just a plain and simple hater.

Almost Negged you too, but I didnt seeing your entitled to your opinion and at least your debating your way around which is cool with me, even if I disagree with you...

I'll put more stock in RJJ beating soundly Toney and Hopkins than anyone Calzaghe ever faced.. I'm a Calzaghe fan too but its time to let it go already... Joe would be the betting Underdog against a prime Toney and Hopkins....

Toney's best wins before the Jones fight were

    Merqui Sosa, good win

Iran Barkley, wiped out in a round by Benn, had five (two by ko) before facing Toney

Mike McCallum, was already beaten by journeyman sumbu kalambay

    Michael Nunn, good win

Reggie Johnson, had a loss, nothing special

    Tim Littles, good win

Charles Williams, had five losses one by ko

Doug De Witt, seven losses and another recycled benn opponent

Not a bad resume at all but he still couldnt put two titles together

I stopped reading when you said Sumbu Kalambay was a journeyman are you kidding me ?? he had over 60+ fights and was only ever KO'ed once by one of the hardest punches i've ever seen from Michael Nunn. And he had good wins over McCallum, Graham x2, Collins, Barkley, etc. To call Kalambay a jounreyman has just shown how limited your boxing knowledge is, he was one of the most underrated Middleweights of the 80s, and was a very skilled fighter especially his upper body movement which was superb.

big calzaghe fan and have followed him through thick and thin.

But even i know a prime RJJ would whoop him into next week.

On his day jones jr was something real special, the closest your going to get to a complete fighter that has it all (apart from a chin as demonstrated in the johnson fight)

Ray Robinson was far from a complete fighter.
