Iraq is going far better now...Afgahnistan is going to have to buckle down and get better but with pulling troops from Iraq you can add more force there and we're going to have to work with Pakistan to get in the areas where the big rats are hiding.....and if they don't want to work with us then we're going to have to pull some commando shit to get in there.

Kirkland Obama isn't a panacea he's just a guy who can give good speeches once he gets in debates he'll fade again....if you like Obama so much then elect him as the President of YOUR country because I'm NOT GOING TO VOTE FOR OBAMA....not this year, not in 2012, not in 2016, not in 2020. And it's solely based on his politics and nothing else....what Obama sees as right for America, I don't agree with. I don't think he's a muslim, I don't care if he is one, I heard what was going on in his church and hell it's not that different than listening to some crazy Imam....I don't think he was sworn in on the Q'ran I don't really freaking care....I just don't like that he's as far left as he is and he's waaaaaaay out there.

I like McCain, he's served his country longer, he's done more for his country, and he's solutions oriented...if the citizens say "we want offshore drilling" then McCain says "OK let's do it"

Obama has less experience right now than George W. Bush had in 2000 and that is the honest truth

Lyle, there's experience and then there's experience. Bush has experience bankrupting at least 2 corporations, profiting greatly from being part-owner of the Rangers (and trading Sammy Sosa), and seeing Texas slide to 50th in education all before becoming Prez. Just because he had more than Obama doesn't mean it's a good thing.

Bush's presidency has uncannily followed his previous attempts at careers in business. Any day now I'm expecting a press conference where Bush announces that a consortium of his father's business buddies has taken over the presidency and will run the country until somebody competent has been found to take the job on.

The US already lost in Iraq, Iran won. Bush has managed to reduce the number of US soldiers being killed by putting the insurgents on the payroll so they're not as active as they used to be but this is not success. Strategically the US got its arse handed to it. Iran was playing chess while Bush was playing tiddlywinks.

Afghanistan is another war he started that he can't win. The outgoing US General in charge says that to win he'd need 450 000 troops when he only has 40 000. Pakistan isn't ever going to cooperate with us and it wouldn't make much difference if they did.

Obama won't be perfect but will not run the country into the ground like Bush has done/McCain will continue to do. It would actually be a good thing for America in the long run if McCain wins just so he can entirely fuck the country upside down. Then enough people will be forced to start paying attention to what's going on and fix it.

McCain flip flopped on offshore drilling too. He'll say anything to get elected. He'll change his position on things depending who he's speaking to. He's not just a flip flopper, he's a guy who holds two different positions on things simultaneously.

McCain was opposed to offshore drilling but the American people aren't and he saw that and said "hey maybe we should drill" as did Florida Gov. Charlie Crist.

Obama voted for the FISA bill...talk about selling out! But that doesn't matter because Obama TRANSCENDS politics...he's a visionary and never panders to any group of people

I'm done talking about it, I'm voting for McCain he's served longer and better than Obama has....and politically McCain will do better for the country and myself. If you love Obama so much then go vote for him, I really don't care

He has more experience than Obama, he's not going to tax the crap out of anyone, the capital gains tax will stay the same everyone knows the big economic boom we had under the Clinton years were helped a ton by #1 The .Com boom, #2 Welfare Reform (as done by the Republican Congress) #3 the cut in capital gains tax from 28% to 20%.

His great experience told him it would be a good idea to invade Iraq, and the US then invaded and got its arse handed to it by the Iranians. Obama thought invading Iraq would be a bad idea. So probably better to go for the guy with limited experience but a habit of getting the big decisions right.

McCain and the GOP will indeed tax the crap out of you. They've been increasing middle/low income people's share of the overall tax burden every year they've been in power since Reagan in 1980. Clinton reversed this a little but Bush reversed the reverse, leaving low/middle incomes with their biggest-ever share of the total tax burden in modern history. McCain will ramp up Bush's rob-the-poor-to-give-to-the-rich policies. Clinton's economic growth was done by balancing the budget which created the biggest investment boom in history,a boom that saw 22 million jobs created and the biggest-ever (Reagan/Bush 41) deficit turned into a huge surplus. Bush's boom was with borrowed money and failed disastrously, ruining the economy and creating less than five million jobs, record inflation, negligible investment. All while turning a surplus of hundreds of billions of dollars a year into record deficits. Clinton's boom produced tangible economic growth, far bigger GDP growth than under Bush41/43/Reagan all while cutting the deficits they'd built up and turning them into a surplus. The dotcom bubble only affected a small number of people with capital to invest and was not of Clinton's making. The Bush housing bubble is screwing Middle America, everybody who owns a home and was of Bush's making. Obama will actually cut taxes on low/middle income earners and rightly so. It's the only way the US economy can get going in the long term.

Capital gains tax is paid by people with actual investments, the top-earning couple of percent of the country. Cutting the tax only increases their income, has no bearing on the actual economy. It's a tax the elite pay a lot of because their income is inherited and not earned, so cutting it is a regressive step, a step away from rewarding hard work and enterprise and a step towards more handouts for moneyed elites and inherited wealth.

Only a small number of super-rich GOP people want capital gains to be cut and get the journalists that work for media outlets they own to push for cuts. Where did you read stuff about cutting capital gains being a good idea? Did you know that if you're really wealthy and can afford tax lawyers to deal with the IRS for you you can get all your income declared long-term capital gains and pay only 15% tax? That's only slightly more than you pay in payroll taxes, another tax that falls mainly on low/middle income earners. Payroll tax falls on the first $95000 of yearly income only, so if you earn ten million you still only pay the same payroll taxes as somebody who earns $95k. Why does no GOP politician ever call for a cut in payroll taxes, hmmm?

uh huh....if McCain's advice was heeded earlier Iraq would have been an easier task.

Obama has been a Senator since 2005 but I guess he has more experience from being a "community organizer" ....that's what America needs...CHANGE and a Community Organizer leading us....suddenly we're all a bunch of fucking panhandlers....thanks but no thanks
