Yeah maybe Taylor is more talented.

But if you've seen Lacy fight Sheika and Williams you would see how good he is. He proved in those fights he's a class fighter.

    Don't you think so?
Didn't see the Omar Sheika fight but i did see the Rubin Williams fight and he did show his class in that fight i still think he can do it for some strange reason but i just don't think he hasn't gotten over his embarrassing loss to Joe Calzaghe and i think alot of Jeff Lacy's bad form is based on him not believing in himself anymore and not having confidence and those injuries haven't helped either...........................

But if Jeff Lacy can show some of his old form this could be a good fight because Jeff Lacy is a good pressure fighter at his best and he has a solid chin and if he can get Jermain Taylor into the later rounds where Jermain Taylor has faded in the past we could see an upset but the question is will Jeff Lacy show his old form ? i think he could do because this is the first elite fighter he has fought since the Joe Calzaghe fight and that may make him more up for this fight and the money will for certain motivate him but we will have to wait and see.

I don't know why Joe Calzaghe has been brought into this you asked me if i had seen Jeff Lacy against those fighters.......

But i haven't got Joe Calzaghe's fights i think he is a great fighter but i could never get into his style.....

But he has been great for the sport and you have to admire that whether you like his style or not his record speaks for itself.

This fight I will bet the ranch on, Judging by Lacy last few fights.............I'm taking Taylor by Mid Tko, Taylor will not let him off the hook like Mendoza did.

I predictedthis fight would happen. I remeber afew years ago I thought it would be a superfight between rival world champs. As ot is they are meeting but its a last chance saloon fight

Jermain clearly has more natural talent but he has off nights juts like Jeff . On the face of it im leaning towards a Taylor UD but I think it will be interesting

I hate to say it, but this fight has all the makings of a stinkfest... I will be a fan of Jeffs if he never wins another fight from here on in, but the fact is he isnt his best. The guy is a physical specimen but I always felt like he is two musclebound and it is hurting him down the stretch of fights now..

Jeff looked good early on against Mendoza, then seem to fade and eat more shots. This isint an excuse but a fact, Mendoza chopped Lacy in the back of the head about 20x so as I dont think it would of made lacy look like a world beater but I'm sure that wears you down not to mention Mendoza is a big time puncher..

Taylor on the other hand hasnt looked good in years, couldnt stop natural Welterweights in Ouma and Spinks not to mention Spinks by many peoples accounts won that fight or deserved a draw, then he got concussed by Pavlik, followed up with being outboxed by Pavlik..

People keep bringing up the Taylor Jab.. I got news for you he hasnt utilized that Jackhammer jab consistently since before the 1st Hopkins fight..

The truth is its a crossroads fight for both of these guys for 2 different reasons, Lacy has to answer questions about being shot and Taylor has to answer questions on all the hyped he recieved and was he deserving of it. One could make an arguement that Taylor being the younger athletic man got Hopkins at the right time and just outlasted him 2X and then drawing against a smaller Winky and not being able to put away to Welterweights and then being owned by Pavlik 2x.. I'm sure Taylor has 2nd guessed himself quite a few times as well lately.

I will go on record to say that I do favor Taylor but not by much... Both had solid chins and both had them clipped hard as of late so it wouldnt suprise me if one caught the other and blew him out of there...

Taylor did have a streak of bad performances, but I don't think Taylor had bad showings against Pavlik. The first time they fought Taylor dropped Pavlik, his jab was landing (although Kelly out-jabbed Jermaine), and landed flurries throughout the fight. Kelly just caught Jermaine and took him out of there.

The second fight Jermaine fought beautifully! He just gassed out and Kelly came alive in the championship rounds. His stamina is what is causing him his problems. It's another question if moving up in weight will help that out.

I see Taylor having the ability to make Lacy look bad but I also think Lacy has the ability to take Taylor out. It will be a matter of Lacy getting to him. I predict Taylor by UD or late stoppage.

I love both these fighters and don't want to see the two of them fight. At the same time Jeff is done. He looked terrible in his last fight. When he fight Taylor come November he will look even worst! He is going to get his ass kicked!!!

Taylor SHOULD have an easy nights work but he's in the habbit of fighting down to his opponents level.
