Ezzard accidentally followed through on a hook with an elbow, breaking Rockys nose and causing a slit.

Rocky, unable to breathe in the corner, asked his corner to rip it open a little more in order to allow him to breathe.

Marciano always had an unshakable belief in himself.
Even in the first Walcott fight it can be seen. He was totally outclassed and outfought, but he kept coming forward. It paid off for him and he landed the infamous punch that made him champion.

I remember that one. Lots of blood. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember a very blatant headbutt in the first round, for which Hagler was penalized a point. Not something that Hagler had a rep for, but it happened.

Donald Curry Colin Jones was kinda strange, a huge gash across the nose that stopped the fight, but there was hardly any blood?
