Move to Canada amat. We'll let ya get shit-faced legal like, before we ship you off to war.
I'd say we could teach those Yanks a thing or two about drinking. Three or four Canadian strength beers and they'd be on their butt.
I've seen some on the shelves over here, XXX Molsens. You sure you guy's aren't just spiking the beer?
If you hear a voice within you saying that I am not a painter, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.

Yeah we're making some wickedly strong Beer these days. Eight percent alcohol, maybe even stronger. Our standard is 5%. I don't like the taste of the strong stuff myself.

Back in my hard partying days we used to have lots of beer strikes. Then the liquor stores would have only American beer, which was only 3% and watery as piss. Canadian standard was and still is 5%. What to buy? Nothing like being stuck at the drinking place at the side of the river with some buds and a 24 of Pabst Blue Ribbon.

My understanding is that American Beer has improved somewhat since the old days though.

I always used to chuckle at the differences between some Canadian and American products. Beer and cigarettes in particular were totally different.

I don't know much about beer but usually when I drink and I'm able to pick I try to get Steel Reserve which is 8.1 percent alcohol I think, pretty sure. Though I'd much prefer just vodka or something anyways.

Drink vodka straight fuck a long island - Mac Dre. Had to get that in there. How are cigarettes different there?

The difference in smokes is difficult to describe. Very pronounced though. Best I can say is that American smokes tasted more like horseshit.

seriously though, it seemed that American smokes were drier and harsher than Canadian. Lot's of people here now smoke bootleg cigarettes that come from the Indian reservations along the border. They taste a little more like American Cigarettes.

I don't know if the difference between Canadian and American is as pronounced as it used to be though.

Senecas? Hella people smoke senecas I think they are called, hella cheap and harsh as all fuck. Disgusting really they are disgusting. I smoke Kamel Reds which are great but harsh but they have a much better taste then Marlboro reds imo and the nicotine buzz is waaaay better.

What are the top brands in Canada?

Probably Players. Export, Matinee, Peter Jackson, are a few others. I really don't pay attention any more. There's lots of brands, and the law says they cannot even be displayed in the store any more. They have to ne kept under the counter or hidden, at least in Toronto. But like I say, the bootlegs are taking over, cause there is no tax. I haven't bought a pack of smokes in a long time, so I'm not sure, but a 20 pack can run you around 8 dollars or more, while bootlegs cost maybe 3 dollars.

anyways, back to the subject of the thread which is booze, I find Bourbon and egg nog makes a great Christmas drink.
