That's not facts at all. Just an assumption that most boxers eat at Denny's or cheeseburgers and philly steaks. I suggest it is wrong.

And to make it a thread titled 'food for the travelling boxer' tends to lead one to believe it is some sort of guide to a proper diet for boxers...prefight etc as you have mentioned weight making in the process.

Maybe make it this..."Boxers are forced to eat shit food no good for them because...' to which I would still argue, it isn't that tough to find good food. I can go into just about any restaurant and find a spaghetti dinner, salad on the side, ask for whole wheat bread etc. And if by some chance it is not there...it is usually close by.

So I'm not going to argue this with you any more, but just say it is a BS premise to suggest most boxers eat like that, and at Denny's because you have zero proof and no one I personally know when travelling eats this way before a fight.

A pretty easy assumption to make, considering how many phone calls I have to make in a day.

Surely there's a wealth of healthier/helpfuller/cheaper options available?

Even little towns are going to have super markets/deli's/restaurants where you can buy chicken salads, pasta, grains and pulses, fruit and veg etc?

I was able to eat relatively healthy at a Rave music festival for god's sake... the dish of the day was Ecstasy with a side serving of weed

Even McDonalds do a chicken salad on wheat bread.

I'm sure it has some added sugar/salt but if you can only go to McDonalds at least pick the healthiest stuff

I remember watching something about their food. Something like how the salads had more calories/fat than the burgers.

Jesus just buy the burger and ditch the bun.
