Cotto vs Hatton/Pacquiao would have Cotto as a favorite IMO. Cotto is a strong welterweight. I think both Hatton and Pacquiao can hold their own against him but if it's at 147, Cotto would beat them both quite handily.

The only way to make it a fair fight is to have it at a catchweight around 143-145.

I don't know if Cotto could make 143-145, he looks pretty drained at the weigh-ins, certainly not as bad as he did at the end of his time at 140, but still looks to be pushing it a bit.

It's very difficult for Cotto to make weight below 147... but sometimes huge money (maybe to the tune of $10M guaranteed purse) can convince you to agree to such terms...

Let's see what happens. One thing I DO know is that Cotto left 140 not a fight too soon. Amazing what a mere 7 pounds can do in the sport of boxing. At 147, I think neither Pac nor Hatton have much of a chance against him. At 140, it would make a world of difference.

ODLH came down from 154. Cotto if he fought the winner would not be the guy going into the fight with the bargaining chips. He will probably have to take a smaller cut of the purse & have to at least fight at some kind of catchweight.
