Eating less though will help you even better. Muscular hypertrophy relies on eating. If you eat less you will be just as strong but with less bulk. Also stress conditioning more so. Don't drop or even hold back weight training unless absolutely necessary. You should be able to lose the necessary weight with the above methods.
    I guess Id go low weight,high reps,but thats a new one on me

    Ya, you gain strength but very little if any mass. Look at non-heavyweight olypmic weight lifters. They're shockingly thin (like us boxers they want to be as light as possible) but powerful.
