Listen Son, most fighters in the south make 2 to 4 hundred bucks for their fights,so she's making a wee bit past the curve as to what she makes.
I love the perception the fans have of how much a boxer makes,and what they really make,Chacon agreed to 12,500 to fight Spadafora,and now the fight might fall through because its too much money and the promoter cant afford it. Literally the whole card could fall on its face right now,which sucks because I have a fighter on the undercard,and the kid needs ring time.
Sorry to spoil the myth,but it aint all 40 mill fights at the Garden,its usually 400 dollar fights at the armory.I cant get Christy Martin booked,strictly because the promoters wont go for her asking price,and for a former champion she's not that unreasonable. Ann Wolfe was asking for donations to keep the doors of her gym open. Mahfood is in college right now,Chacon works as a security guard,and even my Missus is a manager of a call center.

For Lubaczewski/Rivas it all comes down to who fights more in guard,and who is more in control,this fight comes right down to who keeps their hands in guard while they work.They both hit hard,Lubaczewski probably hits harder,Rivas is probably faster,but is way sloppier about it..
I know who Im betting on,especially with a hand picked corner,but if it was garunteed they wouldnt bother to have the fight.

Yes she is sloppy,she constantly puts her knees past her center of balance,and her jab moves slower then most glaciers.
She does have a very nice cross,but she refuses to set it up right,and Im more then willing to share those pieces of information,because I know there's no way in hell you can fix it between now and tomorrow night
But please try,Id like her to also be confused and forgetting whats she's supposed to do tomorrow,because thats what happens when you try to graft something on to a fighter last minute.
And if this isnt one of her people,I didnt say she wasnt in shape,because she allways shows up in full trim,she's just a sloppy fighter.I dont even need the phone call from the weigh in to know Lorrissa is in shape.And Im sure Lorrissa's other people who arent in Trinidad know Leslie is in shape and in trim,Im sure theyve heard by now.
Whats really funny is,Lorrissa's people didnt check,and didnt know Leslie was taller then Lorrissa before they signed the contract. I had checked film and checked stats on Lorrissa before I even called back to accept the fight.

Winner of this fight might as well be settled by a coin toss. They have combined to be knocked out every time but once, and only once has either made it to round 2. Also TM your mentioning that they should not have taken the fight because your wife is 2 inches taller is laughable. Fights would never get done if height or reach was a primary factor in the outcome. Good luck to you and your fighter and enjoy Trinidad, but realize the winner of this fight is not the next Ann Wolfe or anything.

Just talked to her,she's fine.
She out thought herself,her nose almost allways bleeds a bit,so she thought she'd look all bad ass and snort it out on to the ring.
Problem is they watch that twice as close with female fights then male fights
So by trying to be tough,she scared the ref in to stopping it.
And she has nothing but respect for Lorissa,she fought a good fight

Apparantly I didnt stress enough to her corner people,that she allways gets a nose bleed,in the ring.And thats no big deal it allways happens,we just know to expect it.
They panicked and threw in the towel thinking she was hurt

Nope gets worse,apparantly her corner didnt know that towel retrieval was not an option and climbed in to the ring after it,so it ended on a DQ.
None of which would have happened if somebody hadnt stolen the corner man I originally hired's passport,and I had to hire some one from down there at the last nanosecond.
