My question is whats a good way to lose muscle?
If you're doing good, stick at it and watch your body change.

Eat less or exercise more - your body will begin to eat muscle for fuel.
If you overexercise a muscle it doesn't get time to rest and grow (also increase chance of injury). Look at the body of a sprinter compared to a long distance runner.

All this is highly oversimplified.

But I'd still say stick with what you're doing and try and eat clean.

Great answer, the fact that a marathon runner does not carry a lot of muscle is down to the constant working of the muscle and not time for the muscle to recover and grow. Same goes for all training in general, if you effectively over work it is will not recover and therefore not get any bigger. Low to medium weight for high reps and repeat a workout tow day running rather than a coventional split routine for muscle gaining.

One other thing to remember is that if you push weights and have a natural ability to gain muscle size you might want to think about dropiing the weights for a bit. Think about a leg for exapmlt that has been in plaaster for 6 weeks and how much it shrinks, this is muscle atrophy due to lack of use, same applies to weight training , if you cut out the weights, watch your diet and are doing aerobics your muscles will shrink and help with weight loss.

Good luck and keep it up.
