2/3 years i reckon.

Showed what he's all about and that was a brilliant display of Bulldog spirit

Never doubted he'd beat Taylor for a second and i knew he'd take him from the end of the tenth (Taylor looked distressed and beaten sitting their) but fuck me he left it late.

I thought JT was superb last night for the record and it took Carl ages to get in range without getting clipped in the process.

Great nights work from Froch and he's gonna make serious money from now on..(he got just £480,000) last night

Great fight. I had him losing until the ko. I had virtually the same score as the announcer for Showtime. Good for Froch, but I felt that Taylor kind of gave it away and should have boxed the last round. I think a rematch would be good.

exactly how i saw it, IMO Taylor was dominating up to the 7th and then it was following the pattern of Froch starting to take the rounds early and Taylor coming from behind to steal them, i had Froch winning the 9th,10th, and 11th rounds straight but Taylor looked gassed and had stopped using his jab, i have no idea why he quit using his jab cause it looked beautiful last night, and then Froch was able to capitalize, honestly if Taylor would have made it out the 12th, even with the knockdown in the final round, IMO he would have won 8 rounds to 4 each with a kd.

What fight were you and Tam watching?

I think Tam was high and imagined the scenario he described above, Froch did shit until the 11th rd, he looked like an idiot no less then 4 times did he take shots at Taylor just to miss and end up going face first towards the ropes as if he was an amateur starting out, His chin is not like Iron, it is not even like Pigs Iron, Taylor was never a hard puncher even at 160 let alone 168,

If Taylor did not tire he would be champ right now, if Taylor held through the 12th instead of just covering up he would be champ right now.....

Do you think Librado Andrade would fold to the shots Froch threw? Would Froch absorb the punishment he did last night against lets say Kessler and stay standing?

Froch was exposed last night plain and simple

I give him credit though he did get up and he did keep fighting when he was down big and for that you can not deny his heart, he is a decent fighter but is he the best in the division?

After the fight Mick and Froch actually had the balls to say that Carl showed a P4P performance!!!!!!


He stayed up and scored the KO but in no way did he show anything last night, he got his ass kicked and kicked good.

I was less the 30 feet from the ring and I promise Froch at no time other then when Taylor tired did anything worth while...

He has heart and he was willing but it was Taylors stamina that won the fight for Froch last night

Smash and Tam can gloat and I'll eat my humble pie on this one. Froch is better than I thought.

In all seriousness, how may of us screamed bloody murder over the Andrade result? Bute was much further up on the cards than Taylor was, and in my honest opinion, Bute was outclassing Andrade more than Taylor was outclassing Froch. The better boxers were both outclassing the punchers, but the guys with more heart, stamina, and desire got their men in the end. Fair play to them. If you take credit from Froch, you gotta take it from Andrade, too. It was similar situation, except Froch had made it a closer fight than Andrade did.

That being said, last night confirmed a lot of things Froch critics like me have believed. This fight does not make him the man at 168, no matter what Tam made me put in the sig, but like it wouldn't have made Andrade (who is one of my favorites) the man if the ref wasn't eating retard pills. Froch is going to have trouble when he's in with a guy who can really punch. Kessler, Andrade, and Dirrell are nightmare matchups for him.

Froch should go for Bute. I'd probably favor him in that one. That's his best shot. Why waste your time on that nobody with the WBO belt. Either that or roll the dice with Pavlik.

I had thought that Froch should let Taylor have his rematch, seeing as Jermain was ahead on the cards and lost in the last few seconds. It seems reasonable that he can ask for a rematch considering that.

However, thinking about Froch vs Pavlik, I don't think it would be the most technical or pretty fight don't get me wrong, but it would be one hell of a slugfest. Think I'd see Pavlik winning, but you're almost guaranteed a KO with that match up.
