    Well done

At the end of the day Froch KO'd Taylor. That's all that matters.
At the end that is the final result.

BTW if you check the fight thread that night it's amazing how quiet Smash was as the fight was going on. And he was online

Well Taylor was winning the fight (easy IMO), so that's understandable. But the FRoch man still pulled it out the bag.

So if I were Smashup or Tam i'd be pretty fucking happy i'd told everyone so

Smash and Tam can gloat and I'll eat my humble pie on this one. Froch is better than I thought.

In all seriousness, how may of us screamed bloody murder over the Andrade result? Bute was much further up on the cards than Taylor was, and in my honest opinion, Bute was outclassing Andrade more than Taylor was outclassing Froch. The better boxers were both outclassing the punchers, but the guys with more heart, stamina, and desire got their men in the end. Fair play to them. If you take credit from Froch, you gotta take it from Andrade, too. It was similar situation, except Froch had made it a closer fight than Andrade did.

That being said, last night confirmed a lot of things Froch critics like me have believed. This fight does not make him the man at 168, no matter what Tam made me put in the sig, but like it wouldn't have made Andrade (who is one of my favorites) the man if the ref wasn't eating retard pills. Froch is going to have trouble when he's in with a guy who can really punch. Kessler, Andrade, and Dirrell are nightmare matchups for him.

Froch should go for Bute. I'd probably favor him in that one. That's his best shot. Why waste your time on that nobody with the WBO belt. Either that or roll the dice with Pavlik.

I had thought that Froch should let Taylor have his rematch, seeing as Jermain was ahead on the cards and lost in the last few seconds. It seems reasonable that he can ask for a rematch considering that.

However, thinking about Froch vs Pavlik, I don't think it would be the most technical or pretty fight don't get me wrong, but it would be one hell of a slugfest. Think I'd see Pavlik winning, but you're almost guaranteed a KO with that match up.

    Would be incredibly entertaining

I thought Taylor gave Froch a boxing lesson for the first few rounds. When he got put down he looked like an outclassed domestic-level fighter who'd made the mistake of believing his own hype. But Taylor started to slow dramatically after four or five rounds and Froch was able to get into the fight. It wasn't that Froch "started slow", it's that Taylor slowed down to Froch's level so Froch started landing. If Taylor had had any stamina he would have won easily.

I had froch down one round going into final round

froch is the man at 168, traveled across the pond & defended in taylors backyard!

if taylor fancies a rematch should be in england, but doubt taylor would want one

don't know what fight you were watchinig, Froch didn't start getting remotely close to winning a round until at least the 8th, on my card he didn't win a round until the 9th, and honestly by then i was saying it over and over again Taylor looked gassed, i had Taylor winning the first 8 rnds plus the knockdown, so if Taylor would have made it out of the 12th round he still would have won 115-111

Sounds like your making excuses for JT if I'm honest, Froch just had a fight and he came out on top. If that is because he had better stamina then so be it.

My take on the fight is that Froch is one hell of A tough Guy,and there should be no doubt about that, but his skill level is probably below average in some regards,he is slow and very predictable, last night was the first time I have seen Froch fight, but judgeing by his style I would have suggested that Taylor would be A very bad match-up for him.I would`nt say that Taylor beat himself last night but it was something close to that, had Froch not got Taylor out of there in the 12th,Froch was headed for A Dec.loss of 3 points or so,Imo Froch needs to be busier, one other thing, whoever said Taylor is not A hard puncher is on crack,Taylor punches with speed and POWER,and is very dangerous.credit to Froch for his victory he earned it fair and square, last round or not, credit for Taylor for A great fight,he could have tried to coast and hold in the 12th.but he is A warrior snd decided to fight and was as always very gracious in defeat,I personally would love to see A Re-match.,,....Great Fight!

Pavlik needs to worry about fighting Abraham or Williams before he even thinks about Froch. I think a rematch would be great & would like to see Froch give it to Taylor if he can't get Joe outta retirement
