It may last maybe 2 or 3 more years while Pac is fighting because after that, maybe other Filipino boxers will follow, which is good! More competition to the sport or maybe things will go back to how they were with no asian in the boxing spotlight for many years to come.
Think about this, let's say that Bangladesh beat Brazil in the World Cup and suddenly became competitive and dominate the sport, wouldn't Bangladesh have a lot to brag about, be proud, etc.? Well, think Pac now. Saddoboxer and hardcore PacFanBoys deserves to enjoy this ride while it lasts

I am glad we have Pac in the sport. He brings excitement, big fights, and all the good stuff. A nice likeable humble guy.
Presently Philippines has 3 boxing champs... Last year there's a time when it has 5 champs at the same time... Many years ago there's a time when it has more than 6 champs at one time...
Currently Filipinos focused more on Pacquiao coz he's so big, so popular... In fact, I think he's the most popular active boxer right now all over the world...
