To be fair against Pacman I don't think he's ever fought at a catch weight in any of his fights yet. And I believe it should be that way. And some may say what about the Oscar fight? As I've stated before it's unreasonable to have the guy jump 3 weight classes to fight Oscar from 135 so they met at the 147 limit.

Very well said... PAC never fought at catchweight before... The Hoya "catchweight" is very well justified since the 2 boxers being 3 divisions apart... Why not give PAC one catchweight fight before he retires?? ...

Pac hasn't fought anyone at a catchweight because no one is quick to take that boobytrap. Everyone saw what the catchweight did to DLH. And lets keep it real. Pac has tried to get every welterweight at a catchweight. Roach even said he wouldn't let Pac fight any welterweight at 147 except PBF. I wonder why? The smallest welterweight is deemed a 147 pound fight and the bigger welterweights must drop below 147. They want them drained just like DLH. Its very tactical for them and very dangerous for the opponent. Although Mosley said he would agree to the catchweight and short money. I am curious why Pac and Roach didn't take Mosley up on his offer after he called their bluff. Must've deemed it was still too dangerous.
