It would have been smarter to take it at 147 so nobody could complain. Pac still beats him there IMO

Damn! at fight night Pacquiao will only weigh 148-149 lbs. That's the highest weight Pacquiao can make. While Cotto can go up in weigh at fight night at 160 -170lbs. That's 10 to 20 lbs different.
Cotto have the advantage at weight
and
Pacquiao have the advantage on speed

Cool; can't wait for this one. Should be a helluva' fight; but I'm going with Pac to win.
I'd rather it be at 147 but this is fine. Never once bought into the 143 thing.
Lol! Poor Shane. All those begging for nothing. I think this news has something to do with now Roach turning his full attention on Pac after his well done job with Khan.
I have been following Cotto's career from the beginning and I have never seen him come in on fight night weighing more than 157 pounds. Cotto is a big junior welterweight and an average-above average sized welterweight. At 145, Cotto will be fast enough for and still bigger than Manny. If Cotto weighs between 160-170 on fight night, then he will be a sitting duck for Manny.
What, hes sending his silk adorned emissaries now lol.Think Arum will kiss his ring when he receives him
I think Manny will cause many cuts.I just dont like Cottos bad habit of backing to the ropes.Enough math tutorials and calculating fractions.Just box.Going with Pacquiao.
Great news may the best man win, not rooting for anyone here.
I do not like when Cotto goes against the ropes either, but it only happens against physically big welterweights who pressure Cotto (Mosley, Plasterito,Clottey). Manny is not as big as those three and isn't a "pressure" fighter. This is the main reason why I give Cotto the edge. In my opinion, it could get ugly for Manny.
