Good Call Brother Baggins
I haven't watched Danny Green's fights at all but I hope he is up for "Body-head" banger Roy Jones .. he will definitely put on a show he is not showboat shy but also talks with his gloves with a gut. whoever is airing this fight is in for a massive spectacle. Im Roy Jones Jr fan I would like to see this fight go his way so that the future can be set and open for him to hang the gloves
this will be a nice treat to australian boxing fans
I'll be up for this one fella's, let's get a get together sorted ,plenty of cheap hotels wherever it's held and cheap flights .
Someones gotta put up a poll closer to the fight, I think it may be only Bilbo & myself that are giving Green much of a chance, it may be old age creeping in & I'm slowing losing my mind but I think Danny is a very live dog in this one... he will definitely be effective than lame Lacy!
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
agree, green has a chance
One things for sure Mundine will be jumping up and down like a jealous kid soon enough.

Roy Jones jr should beat Danny Green comfortably, Green is a good fighter but often lacks a plan B as was the case in the 2nd Beyer fight and in his loss to Mundine. He was outboxed by both fighters in those losses and failed to come up with anything at all to prevent the inevitable by mid fight.
He can punch real hard and that is a big plus in this fight as Jones jr does not want to feel the power of Green, i think Green has the hardest straight jab in boxing. Jones is to talented to lose this one though.
Danny Green world class ?
When did Bilbo start taking narcotics![]()
Great performance by Green last night. I fucking told you all he was world class and that he was a dangerous opponent for Jones to take.
Props to galaxy for being the only other person pretty much to see that Roy Jones was in deep for this fight.
And guys you should listen to me more, all the bandwagon jumpers who leap onto overratted guys like Bute, Donaire, Mijares etc and then completely dismiss tough guys like Green and Kelly Pavlik, you need to listen to ol'Bilbo.
Green is now very much a part of light heavyweight, maybe even cruiserweight scene and he will prove himself to be a very acomplished performer indeed. He has real power, a solid chin and is a solid pro who just gets on with the job.
He's trouble for anybody, as I said at the start of this thread all those months ago.
