haha, nah man, I didn't even want to respond in the first place. You can't beat common sense into some people.
Mark, it is much easier to just say "yeah he has no common sense" than it is to actually show any kind of evidence of such. So what about my posts isn't common sense? We can agree that people with violent convictions in the past should in most cases not get their gun rights back and we can agree that Kirkland should be punished for this. So the difference is that I believe we shouldn't have a blanket law disallowing felons from owning guns? Fine you can believe they shouldn't but isn't it common sense that someone who stole over $1000, cheated on taxes, or committed some other non violent offense deemed a felony shouldn't be excluded from owning a gun? Or is the problem that I said I could understand why Kirkland might want to own a gun after being robbed at gunpoint earlier this year?

And Morales, you couldn't explain what pedophiles and drug dealing has to do with any of the previous statements, instead you chose to just say I'm not listening. I'm listening I just want to hear something back related to what I was saying
it's common sense that someone (KIRKLAND) who was arrested already for a violent or crime involving a weapon (gun) for example ARMED ROBBERY, shouldn't be allowed to own a LEGAL weapon after already being CONVICTED, much less while still on PROBATION, and retard if you couldn't tell that i was just throwing other examples that are basically the same scenarios you're a lot more fucking dense than i had originally thought

Kirkland is right where he should be in jail for a long long time
He had not one not two but THREE chances & blew them all. I guess once a street punk always a streetpunk.
Kirkland needs to look at Bernard Hopkins. He also did time & had boxing offer him a chance to turn his life around. Nard took the chance changed his lifestyle & with hard work look at him now .A rich young man & one of boxings true Living Legends. I dont think Kirkland posesses the heart Nard had

Way to sound like you can't read. I said Kirkland should be in trouble and shouldn't be allowed to have a gun, I simply said I understand why he would want one. I think arbitrarily throwing pedophiles into the conversation for no reason is retarded because it has nothing to do with anything previously written. I know you were just throwing out other examples, your examples were just bad though, like Teddy Atlas analogies. How is letting someone who gets a felony, for a non violent offense, regain their gun rights in any way parallel to letting a pedophile babysit your kids? You came up with two bad examples and now refuse to argue how they are related to felons and gun laws. If you ever figure out how to read what I wrote I'd like to find out what I said that is so insane. Quit worrying about calling me names and read what I wrote. I know it went off on a tangent talking about felons and gun laws not related to the Kirkland case, maybe that is what threw you off.

The thing that really bothered me about the thread and made me want to reply was it was the second time in the past week or two that Daxx claimed people were trying to act like thugs, Cloud first, now Kirkland, without reason. I just got off topic a bit talking about how the law works, and then it got your panties in a bunch for whatever reason. Sorry I went a bit off topic with my posts, it is a boxing forum and I went away from that part of the topic. That though is all I think was wrong with my posts.

Acting like a thug without reason!?!?! give me a break. A man is charged and arrested for armed robbery and then goes and tries to get a gun again. That is acting like a thug, trying to act hard. If he wanted to "protect" himself, you move away from trouble. I know a lot of communities he could have moved to and been away from trouble. Going and buying a gun is STUPID end of story. He had a lot of people to turn to if he wanted to change his life around and fucked it up. No one's fault but his own, he was given a second chance and blew it.

So we can agree that Kirkland fucked up? Buying a gun was stupid, but you can understand the psychology of wanting one if you had been robbed at gunpoint right? It's a really bad decision and is nobodies fault except his, I never argued it wasn't did I? Buying a gun is not an action that makes some one a thug, in this case it just makes him stupid. I see you negative repped me also, why is that? I never attacked you personally, never got racist or anything offensive. The only place our opinions differed, or maybe not even, is because I said not all felons should lose gun rights, only ones that involve violence or the threat of violence. I really don't see why you are trying to argue something that I already said I agreed with long ago, that Kirkland fucked up. Maybe you don't believe that someone who was robbed at gunpoint may want to own a gun? I never said it was a good idea, just what might his reasoning for a really bad choice.

we all fucking get it dipshit, you don't get that when Kirkland was the one who robbed someone at gun point and was caught and convicted he lost his right to have a gun and is fucked if some asshole ended up robbing his ass, the subject at hand is that James Kirkland is a dumbass, same as you
