As trainers, they are very good, more evidenced by their work with weaker fighters like Jeff with Sultan Ibragimov, or Floyd Sr with Steve Forbes. What Floyd Sr did with Oscar & Guzman as well was impressive.
However, IMO none of them are on the same level as Freddie Roach or Nacho Beristain right now.

I agree Roach and Beristain are better trainers, but the Mayweather get considerred better by some its crazy.

Yes, he did, he was the lineal Super-Featherweight champion in the 80s.
Some might consider his win over Rene Arredondo worthy of also making him lineal champ at Light-Welter, following on from Arredondo's fights with Hamada, but personally I wouldn't say there was a lineal champion till JCC beat Mayweather as they were IMO the 2 best guys in the division at that time.
Even then you could even make an argument that it was the Taylor-Chavez fight that was the 'real' lineal championship fight.
