edit: Hello there miles. Long time no talk.
Now then Bruce. You are obviously missing me...

I wouldn't mind seeing Hatton/Diaz either. I just can't see Hatton coming back now though. It will have been a year since Pac before he is in any way ready to get near the ring again and I can't see that being good for someone who sups and eats like Hatton.

I would have much preferred Pac to fight Juan rather than David Diaz too. Would have been exciting while it lasted, whereas David Diaz was just a totally one sided beat down.
I miss the gay talk from you. LOL.

The key to being a fighter like Malignaggi is you have to be accurate and you have to be slick, he's really neither. He's fast, he knows how to work on the outside and he knows how to keep his output up but that's about it. IMO he shares the same dilemma with Rayonta Whitfield whom I used to be very high on but he's just not accurate enough and he seems to get hit to much. Simple as.

Bilbo, you are the Rayonta Whitfield of forum posters.

Meh, I think the oh Paulie had to jump through so many hoops line is a bit tired and overdone. He wanted the fight, he agreed to the catchweight and then the week of the fight starts bitching about it, yawn.

And you would think it was the most smallest ring EVAR. This stuff happens all the time, the only reason people are jumping on it is Paulie raised a fuss about it fight week, yawn X 2. This combined with promising Max his first born child was very smart manuevering by Paulie.

As for fighting in Texas, LOL. The previous fight Diaz fought in Texas too and one of the judges gave the fight to Michael Katsidis in a fight that Diaz strolled through.

None of these things helped Paulie but people act like its the tragedy of all tragedies.

And nobody (well maybe Amat) says that the 118-110 card wasn't a stretch but that's not what were arguing, I'm arguing Diaz won, period. And anyway I don't think its such open shut thing that Van Hoye's card was pure corruptness, Diaz was landing the cleaner harder looking shots and every time he landed the crown went nuts.

That can effect you especially when the other guy just isn't landing anything substantial. I had it 7-5 Diaz watching it on tv with Max getting wet every time Paulie pulled his pants up, if I was in the arena I would have probably had it 116-112 or so. So yeah Viva Von Hoye if only just to annoy people.

The judges in Beijing would have scored that fight for Malignaggi, he would have won going away probably but that just shows how gay that scoring system was where all those glancing shots off the shoulder or chest with nothing behind them actually count for something.

Seriously 118-110 Diaz is a more fair card then 115-113 Malignaggi imo. Diaz actually fought a pretty good fight in the face of some serious adversity and an opponent who was trying to steal the fight rather then win it.

Malignaggi is rated 18th by boxrec at 140. To be fair, I would have him higher then that so please no one make the argument that I'm just an irritator or a hateerrr (we should start bumping bestp4p threads now.) hooooollllllaaaaarrrrrr.

I agree with you. Mosley won that 2nd fight with ODH too. The fighter going backwards doesn't get much credit in my book. Especially if he's getting hurt, and not hurting the other fighter. Paulie always has an uphill battle if I were judging.

I scored this fight and had it close, Paulie a slight winner. Easily could have gone either way, but thought the judging was terribad, and biased. So basically, no new revelations here.

I don't really score against a guy because he's moving, just as long as he's being effective its fine with me.
