I dont know if its confirmed yet,I mean it is in theory is,but in theory so was this fight.
He's in training, and looking good from what I hear, thats why I was able to get him in on short notice. He was ready to roll
I mean I was able to make it up to his people(well, hopefully,I at least found them a good fighter for their other guy,I just have to get the money to bite on it,yay, another day on the phone tomorrow)
It really comes down to,will all hell break lose again,I have no worries about Hector, and Im not in the least worried about Julio, the kid I found for Jason(that fight should rock the house)
I will believe everything when I see the fighters approaching the ring.
I am only thanking god I have unlimited long distance, because Ive been on the horn with Vegas,Baltimore,Allentown,Illinois,LA,Colorado and Pittsburgh(twice) today, trying to fix the mess Mora put me in.
Im pretty sure everything is fixed again, but damnit that kind of thing will wreck your entire day.

You can't just have a showstopper like Mora-Alatorry fall through and hit the ground running. From the sounds of it Jason-Julio sounds like it could be an entertaining clash, winner gets their full name in a trainer monkey post.

No post full names, until fight confirmed
I did this time, and got burned hard
The only thing I can probably confirm is Allatorre wont be fighting Futrell again any time soon
learning lesson of the day, make sure the damned contracts are signed BEFORE you post it on a web page. The only reason I broke that rule this time,is because I had so little lead time to work with and had to pump it a bit.
Its still kind of a serious shame,it would have been a nice fight. I mean for what I was getting paid,I would have been taking a loss just to fly out for it, but I would have watched on tv,and probably burned it to DVD.
Styles make matches, and those two were made for each other.
meh, maybe if Mora proves he can show up for a fight a couple of times, maybe it happens down the road. But its still a bummer, because I was seriously stoked to see this fight

What Anthony Mora should be thinking,is why wont they use me? Especially if that was the cheapest of the fights offered to the casino, which it was.
If somebody is willing to drop thousands of dollars, not to deal with you,you are not having a good day.
And Im glad Anthony is not having a good day, because if he had shown up for the last two times he was booked,I wouldnt be scrabbling to pay back favors right now.
I blew an entire day trying to even get him a damned opponent, and I spent another day trying to make it up to the people who helped me dig one up last second.
And as of right now,I havent seen sou one off of any of this
To paraphrase my feelings you could start with pissed, and work from there. Mr Mora had better concentrate on some record building club fights, to rebuild his reputation, because right now its S warmed over, because nobody trusts that if they book him,he'll even show the hell up.
And to really annoy me,I was looking forward to him and Hector fighting, because I really wasnt sure who'd win. Those are the type of fights I like having my name anywhere near. Everybody knows when its a record padding tomato can fight,I try to avoid being anywhere near those. This one would have been a damned fine war.
Its all on Mora,he wants to prove he's still viable,he's going to have to rebuild his reputation, ground up. Because if I cant get this one booked,as little as I was looking to make off it,his reputation is just left of Courtney Love
haha that made me laugh, in all seriousness have you ever been involved in a professional fight where your guy wasn't the tomato can?

Boxrec says no, but with 11 defeats in their last 12 fights combined I can see why TM was expecting a barnburner.

    Definitely no tomato can fight

Did Jason and Julio at least do as well as expected?

It`s the subtlety of the negotiation folks. That is the secret. The art of the deal. Many a great match up was made over a cheeseburger. You must understand, this is how the buis works.

This is sad, just holding on to a dream that's gone.

When I'm sad I like to look at these threads

I've never seen this! What gold! Why aren't more people convinced he was a pure wind up.

I've long thought Baller was a sort of misunderstood comic genius, there's no way he wasn't a wind up. TM, he was probably just crazy, but its possible.

Hahaha no unfortunately I know Baller's type and I really doubt he's a windup. If he was, he was the best ever, ever, ever, ever.

He just has a super oversize ego and a superb ability to dodge the main asked question and to try to turn it to anything else. Last time he wrote me, it was to insult me and to told me that the Mayweather had his cormerman's passport stolen before the fight of his wife with rivas, that I was an idiot and a jerk to not know that also, all the judges had their money in Rivas that day too... well, the world was against them big time. If ever anybody manifest, i post you the last transcripts so you can all judge by yourself.
