It couldn't even fill up the venue though, and if that is the most meaningful fight to have taken place in America in recent times then it's no wonder the place is sinking. American fighters don't have in venue support. Pavlik is the only one who comes close to it these days. The Marquez fans far outnumbered the two Mayweather fans!

when tyson, bowe, holyfield fought eachother everyone in america knew they were fighting. Nowadays id guess at the very least 40% of americans have no idea who floyd mayweather is
I would disagree with that mate, there maybe not fans but im quite sure your average American who has been in the country in the last ten years knows who Floyd Mayweather is.

If your American is this correct?? Ive seen him on most national news stations he has done Letterman, WWE, etc etc.
