Usually when a boxer comes 1 or 2 pounds under the limit the titles are not on the line. Which leads me to my question.. What are the rules, can you fight for the 147 title at 140 ? First of all catchweights suck but to be able to win titles at heavier weights without fighting at them is B/S... This opens up all possibilities...
Oscar lost to Hopkins but their contract says Hopkins should make the 157lbs limit

Oscar - 155, Hopkins - 156 during the weigh in.

and you said how is it possible? well SRL won a 175lbs belt from a 175lbs title holder. while forcing that title holder to make the Super Middleweight limit of 168lbs!
Well i get how it's possible but why is that rule allowed is what im saying.. i remember Hopkins but we all knew Oscar would lose.. the sugar ray LHW lmao thats crazy man totally unfair.. i had forgotten about that wow.. insane
I hate the 145 catchweight also. But you can defend it TECHNICALLY because the WELTERWEIGHT division is anywhere from 141 to 147lbs.

but the Leonard 175lbs title is really b_ullshit. its like

Amir Khan fighting Shane Mosley at 140lbs. and both WBA 140 and 147 belts are on the line!!! WTF?!!!!
