That fight would be very disappointing from a fan's standpoint because of certain mandatories for the WBA belt already and the goal of unifying the titles for the Klitschko's and anyone else with a title....for anyone even Hopkins to make this fight a priority is wrong. If Hopkins wanted to win a title at heavyweight I figure he would rather beat a Klitschko brother or at least have more than 1 belt on the line.
In the end Evander Holyfield still has a better shot at it
I made a thread on this a little while ago when I saw an article about it on some boxing site. As impressive as Hopkins is and has been, Haye would ruin him.

I think at 45 bad idea few years ago I think Hopkins beats a prime heavyweight Haye.
