I am a big admirer of his but Hopkins stood a better chance against Maskaev but genetics say he is not a heavyweight and would lose against any decent heavy, and even Lyle would admit Haye is a decent heavy.

I think Hopkins is to clever prime for prime for Haye who still makes alot of mistakes, but the guy is 45 years old and will be facing a big quick puncher id be worried for him now but I would have my money on him firmly to beat Haye as late as 3 years ago.
