I cant see Hatton's telegraphed left hook to the body ending it to be honest, his best shot is to bully and harrass him like you say. But Khan I think will hurt Ricky early. The fact Ricky has been partying like a rock-star since the Pac loss, and the fact that Freddie will have the perfect strategy for Amir to implement worries me alot.I think you're underrating Hatton and overrating Khan. Hatton has won 45 fights. I'm pretty sure he landed punches to win those fights. Khan struggled with Gomez pressure, and although improved has beaten a decent defensive fighter in Kotelink. I'm pretty sure Kotelnik is not in Hatton's class.I'm not so sure. Hatton's not the sort of fighter to throw hooks to the head...well accurately at least and every time Khan has been in trouble it's been a hook that's caught him on the temple. Hatton will mainly throw straight right hands that fly over the target and Khan will counter him for fun.
I agree Khan's punch resistance is awful although at 135 that was more than likely because his bodyfat was at 1.5%
Seriously though, any fighter has a punchers chances against Khan, but i still give Hatton next to no chance.
I see a methodical beatdown that falls somewhere in between what Floyd and Pacquiao did to Hatton.
Be a shame for him to go out like that. I just don't see him ever being able to deal with fast combinations.
I would make Khan slight favourite but the very fact Hatton can do him with a clip makes it intriguing.
That said, Ricky will more than likely get in the shape of his life for a fight with Amir, and he will need to. I know contrary to whatever Ricky says in the media about Amir, his true feelings are alot different.I think Rick can make this a messy fight and bully Amir. If he lands the bodyshots and takes Khans legs away, closes the distance, which Hatton is brilliant at, I can see the left hook downstairs and up ending the argument.
