    Current odds for Pac/Clottey

    Pac: -500 = 1/5
    Clottey: +450 = 9/2

    Draw: +3300 = 33/1

Plus I just read that the 45,000 seats are almost all sold out and it's expected to, unless Arum and Jones is bullshitting.Promoter Bob Arum expects sellout for Manny Pacquiao-Joshua Clottey fight at Cowboys Stadium - ESPN Dallas

I'll go out on a limb and say this fight does around 850k-900k.

Pacquiao by late TKO. Clottey's low workrate is gonna allow Pac to just swarm him. I think it might be competitive early, but by the mid to late rounds Pac just takes over and I see him forcing a late stoppage.

Pacquiao seems to have all the advantages I can think of: faster, more pop in his punches, can take damage alright, workrate, etc. I can't believe so called "boxing experts" even give Clottey a chance. But hey! Anything to sell the fight, eh?

I see it as a late round stoppage or a UD in Pac's favor. I just don't like the idea of him just standing and taking the punch from his opponent just to assess their power and to find out whether he can take their hit. He might not be lucky the next time he does that.

The only way I see Clottey winning is if Pac becomes complacent and receives a lucky punch from Clottey (very remote since his KO ratio in his last few fights is not that good). Upsets do happen and is always a possibility in any fights.

Unless the Ghanaian get one of those patented leaping right to connect, or maybe an "unforseen" accidental headbutt, LOL, which either or both can slow or STOP Pac down, I see very slim chance for Josh to win.

Word out of Pac's training camp seem to give credence to the initial Vegas odds favoring the PacMan. More than a few credible wild card inhabitants profess that Manny has never looked better... (see video above from MAX Boxing)

I see a Durable Diaz parallel, only this time now with Pac even more precise with his delivery in inflicting damage. This may possibly cut the number of rounds by a few.

Round 6 till 8 will be it for Clottey. PacMan by stoppage.

That's what I'm thinking too, Pac's movement should allow him to take advantage of the openings the others were not able to do. I think Pac will be stepping to the right a lot and firing straight lefts to get inside of the jousting move Clottey uses to make it work against him (Clottey). The obvious follow up are right hooks to the body while continuing to move to the right to get around the elbows.

The real question here is wether manny is taking p..........ineapple juice because its supposed to be really good for you ! But yeah i see Manny getting a late round KO i dont see Josh putting up as much a fight as Miguel did, after seeing how Clottey acted when Miguel threw him down he just doesnt have the heart.

The first two Pac will move in and out to test Clottey's range and willingness. Clottey will be determined to be more aggressive and not sit back as per what most people expect... maybe catch pac with a shot. at which point Pac will acknowledge by throw his arms up. Pac, unhurt, goes on the attack after that, moving in and out and winning any exchanges by and extra 2 punches. From there on Clottey will settle into his shell despite pleads from his corner. Pacquaio will wear down Clottey aside from a round off here or there. While I think Clottey's conditioning can take him to the end....Somewhere in the later rounds, 10 or 11, the refs seen enough and calls a stop while Pac's flailing away on the Clottey Caccoon. Clottey will protest.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Clottey hurts his hand again in this fight.

Remember when Cotto knocked Clottey down with a jab in first round? Well, Clottey didn't see that punch comin'. He walked right to it. He'll be perfectly timed by Pac. And once Clottey gets rocked, expect the ref to step in for stoppage.

    Pac by 8 round TKO.

i think pacquiao will win all rounds due to his speed, angles and workrate until he tkos clottey in the 7th round. he might fight in orthodox stance at some instances in the fight.

In the three fights I've seen of Clottey (against Judah, Margarito, and Cotto) I've observed that the leaping right straight seem to be the most effective weapon in his arsenal. It is quite unique and the snappiest of conterpunches, to which style or discipline Josh is quite an accomplished, and Pacquiao the overmatched.

Killersheep, you have noted the hooks to the side that Pac would use after the powershots... Agreed on that one, absolutely.

For Pac's attack to be successful, he needs to somehow bring down Clottey's arms that excellently cover and protect his weak spots. Clottey's extra long arms seem to be naturally designed for this specific purpose...
This is where Manny's body attack will prove quite useful.

Pac's body attack, especially the power shots to the breadbaskets are to this date totally undervalued and even ignored as a Pacquiao weapon of note, yet it is, after the obvious signature ones, that have brought down the likes of Erik, Oscar, Ricky, and Miguel in a manner quite unexpectedly by the same recipients.

Clottey will experience the same as the others, but only this time with a much purposeful intent from Manny. Those arms will stay on protect mode until it falls off from cumulative damage. If and when that happens, Josh will wish to get off from that nightmarish predicament, any which way he can.

If Manny wins by stoppage that would be super impressive. I expect him to win but Clottey is as tough as they come and IMO even a 12th round TKO would be more impressive than his 2nd round KO of Hatton.

Understandably they have a whole section dedicated to this fight.

There are definitely still seats available as well Pacquiao v Clottey tickets Cowboys Stadium Arlington, TX, Directions, seating chart. Official Ticketmaster site.
I guess the dropped they floor seat prices as well because they weren't selling. I do hope it sells out as I always like to see live boxing do well. But it's not looking likely.
