Lala land? how so? He wasn't hurt at all??
By saying that, I meant Clottey was in there physically but it seems his heart and mind is not in the fight. How can he be hurt? He was covered up like somebody is shooting him with a gun. Very one sided fight. I also don't think this serves as any statement for Mayweather. Just fight Manny and get those damn tests.
Ah I see... My bad. He's always like that though. For all his ability he seems to severely lack in the heart department. It seemed like his corner were begging him to let his hands go, just doesnt seem interested unfortunatly!

Yeah, I don't see Clottey fighting again on the big stage.

I guess we can put him on the wasted talent pile. I think he's too good to be considered a gatekeeper though. I wouldnt be suprised if he completely fizzled out of the scene altogether, he'd still be a tough tough challenge for any prospects.

Honestly , I think if Clottey would open up more ,he'd get ko'd . So i think he did good to just be safe, since he knew he won't beat Pacman .

Clotteys got one of, if no the best chin in the division... if he cant open up who should? You cant go into a fight just in the hope of surving 12 rounds. It wasnt like everytime he threw a punch he was getting tagged straight back...

I find it interesting how Pac threw all kinds of punches and Clottey came out clean. Clottey throws a few punches and look at Manny's face after the fight .

He did beat him in the score cards with no doubt but can't really say that Manny punished Clottey or gave him a beating, nope. At times he looked frustrated as he couldn't figure out Clottey's defense, even did a scissor double punch or whatever you call it.

A thumb up for Manny's punch output and stamina.

Must be a first for boxing at that level. Did it score two points ?

What did Clottey earn for the night anyone know?

speaking of double punches, I think the undercard would have been a lot better where instead of the Castillo fight... I'd have rather seen him fight someone like Augustus or something. I mean Augustus had a great fight against Figueroa on HBO PPV before, I'm kinda shocked that they didn't or don't bring him back on these kinds of undercards. He'd be a great commodity to them and would get the crowd going before the main fight.

Anything would have been better then that crap of a undercard we saw tonight
