No matter how much you'd love to compare/contrast the two situations (so you can cry "HYPOCRACY"), you can only align them in that they both deal with the war on drugs in sports. FYI, Jones and Hall both tested positive for illegal substances post-fight. Besides being more than a decade apart, there weren't the same testing procedures in place, the public knowledge on the matter was shady at best and (most importantly) there was no public outcry for such tests to take place (and in doing so, possibly even saving a diminishing sport).

I'll call Roy a cheater right now (as were most other fighters, including Hall), just like I'll call Pacquiao a cheater. We need to change the mentality that this is just a sport in which you do what you can without getting caught. With the publicity gained by Floyd's (so-called 'outlandish') request for better testing, we had/have an opportunity to better the sport. It's only the drones of mindless 'Pactards' who support his every shady move, that are holding it back. Dare I say, even an ego like Roy's would've bent for the fans and the progress of the sport.
