Haye makes sound because he's a brash mouthed folk and because England needs a boxer to look at but that's about the end of it.
C'mon it's not like Haye hasn't backed up some of his talk. He's a unified and lineal Cruiserweight champion as well as now being a belt-holder at Heavyweight.
As for the idea that England needs a boxer to look at, well to be honest that's just rubbish. Amir Khan is about the most sought-after young fighter in the world, Hatton & Calzaghe may be retired or good as yet plenty of guys at 140 & 168 still call them out, Kevin Mitchell has a world title fight in a football stadium and Carl Froch is all but ignored over here despite taking on great opposition and usually being in good fights. Not to mention the wealth of prospects we have coming through.
Britain is far from desperatly searching for boxing stars.
Canada on the other hand...
