Why does the majority think Froch is inferior to Abraham and Kessler?

I don't dislike the guy but it's hard to really judge how good froch is. He's fought absolutly no one. And damn near lost to direll on a bad night while abraham some say was coming back on him on a good one. Effort and entertaining is all fine and dandy but that not what they judges score rounds on. I say it's still up in the air when it comes to this guy.

I don't agree with that. His resume is as good as anyone's in the tourny, bar Taylor and Kessler.

Pascal, Taylor, and Dirrell are all good fighters and Froch beat every one of them (even if Dirrell did get robbed).

I don't think people think too less of him. Its just that he has those obvious flaws and he is too hittable. Against Abraham that probably won't bode well. I think Kessler is too technical for Froch and will split his wide open style all night. Froch does has tremendous heart and confidence. But thinking Froch isn't going to beat Abraham and/or Kessler isn't like saying anything bad. Those are a pair of great fighters who happened to match up well with Froch.

I'd say Froch has a better resume than Kessler, Kessler has beaten Andrade and Mundine, both years ago. He hasn't won a significant fight in about 3 years.

Taylor has Hopkins on his record which probably tops anything Froch has done, but not a whole lot else.

As passionate a Brit I am, I'm not sold on Froch at all, same as I'm not sold on Haye. Don't think either of them are on the level of Hatton or Calzaghe.

I recall no sig bet, but I'm sure we can work something out if they ever meet. I'm not even a big fan of Bute, I just have a ton of respect for his abilities and I think a slick, fast, heavy-handed southpaw like Bute would be a lot of trouble for Froch.

I think Froch's pressure might give Bute a bit of trouble and if he can find a way to improve his defense I might give him a better chance of pulling off the upset. But if Bute fought the Froch of today, he would murder him with counter-punching and stop him somewhere in the middle rounds.
