I don't have many funny stories but i did quit my first ever job. I was working for a company (not many vans are independant) and the van i was using was under the guise of 'Rossi's Ice Creams' and the owner of the company actually told me i had to put on an Italian accent or he'd fire me. I ended up quitting after a week. It was demeaning.

Since I graduated 3 years ago, I've held a couple of positions, all of which were completely different fields.

1) Health Inspector: Job sucked, hours were awesome though, the office was depressing.

2) Senior Health Advisor: I actually enjoyed this job. I was temporarily transferred to this department while I was still a Health Inspector in the Township.

3) Account Manager for a Computer Firm: Sweet lord this was good money! I worked at home and moved at my own pace. Too bad they got such a big offer to sell the company which was what they did.

4) Warehouse Director: This is what I currently do. I basically run a warehouse for a kitchen cabinet distributor. Good money, terrible hours, tons of pressure, but I'm essentially the boss so it's the perfect mixture of a love it/hate it job.

5) I also coach my former college's men's volleyball team. Luckily, my job works with me during season and let's my assistant handle my responsibilities.

I'm a team leader of group that maintains a customer database for a global software company/ninja/ass model.

I rewire the electrics in houses (a sparky some might call it), its a good way to meet chicks, trust me i have some stories to tell. Sometimes when work slows down, i take my van out and do a bit of scrap metal dealing (pikey style)

I was actually just watching a vid where the electrician finished the job and the wife had no money to pay him. You see where I'm going from here...

If i lose anymore business in my area i'll have to go somewhere else. I've already been threatened by a rival. I started my round half an hour early and took his customers. He wasn't happy. He threatened to top me.
