I'm one of the posters that thinks this is no big deal, hell I actually think cocaine itself is no big deal. Everyone I know does it and guess what? Not one of them have lost their jobs, became addicts, turned to crime, killed anyone, had to move onto harder drugs to 'get a better high' or ruined their lives with this so called evil drug.

I'm not in any way advocating cocaine but everyone is always so quick to vilify it, especially those at The News Of The World when they're trying to sell papers.

Ricky Hatton has earned his party time and can do WTF he likes. The only difference between him and the average bloke in the pub is he can actually afford enough coke to become addicted and he ain't gotta get up for work the next day.

Obviously none of us would want that, but in the mean time he can do what he likes imo

I've seen a few people blasting their life away with coke and I know a few that are borderline to get in trouble because of that. Still, I am not really shocked to learn that Ricky is snorting galore, it's a pity, sure, but not a surprise. I only hope that he'll straighten up his life before he causes himself any more harm and I also hope he'll be lucid enough to never step back in the ring. So long Ricky and thanks for all these nice fights and memories.

It all depends on the motive to take it mate imo, like I said in a previous post I have been told he was bang at it as long as six years ago, but if he is now snorting that stuff on a more regular basis and doing alot of it ( we can only speculate ) because of the void the boxing has left or he is depressed and using it as an escape it is very dangerous mate and could lead to a long lonely path and only gets worst, I am with you I know loads of lads who like a few lines on the weekend and live life to the full with no problem, but with his drinking problems I would guess this could be a problem for Ricky.

I think it is a problem with Hatton. I mean just take a look at how he overeats and drinks, so from that one would conclude that he would have no control with coke, since he has no control on the other stuff.
