Yeah. Maidana is vunerable for FLASH knockdown. His chin aint exactly granite either. But he's one of those type of guys (e.g. JMM) that will get up and act like nothin happen.

I understand your point ice but how good is Khan's power ?
Khan had decent power at LW. But I think he can still carry it 2 divs north of that. It's more about speed actually. It's more about catching the guy EXACTLY the moment he don't see the punch coming.
yup
if you box like maidana does your going to have to get up off the canvas every few seconds.
Difference between the kotelnik, malignaggi, barrera fights etc for khan is that this will for the 1st time in his world level career test his abilities against an all out fighter who doesnt come with an instruction manual
if khan is still chinny then he may just need a small miracle to get out of this one. Sure his defence has improved miles since the prescott fight but he still is gonna occasionally take a thumping and he cant just revert to his old ways of skipping around and hoping it confuses his opponent
one dangerous horrible bloke
I dont no if I understand what you mean by that?
If your saying he is fighting a guy who is hard to train for because you don't no what to expect I think you are way out Maidana is basic and his style is easy to counter act for someone like Khan.
The only way Khan looses this if he gets reckless this will be an easy nights work for him against a very basic fighter.
one dangerous horrible bloke
I'm looking forward to this and Kat vs JMM more than any other fight this year. Even more than Haye vs Audley!
Maidana does get caught easy, but I'm not sure if he'll ever stay down. Khan needs to box his way to a win, if he looks for the knockout he'll get caught and Maidana does have power.
Maidana's chin isn't great but he recovers very quickly, like pacstraightleft said he's like jmm in that regard, it seems to be one of those that gets dented but not broken.
it can't be any worse than Khan's, anywho i heard he's (Maidana) swimming now, so can't see him having probs...![]()
When a fighter is "chinny" it doesn't mean any half decent punch will spark them it means they are vulnerable to either a heavy shot or multiple shots.
Maidana has a one punch KO shot against Khan. Khan has the ability to hit Maidana with a million shots. One of them will be stopped - most likely Maidana as Khan is a much better boxer.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
His chin seems average, he is the type of fighter that goes up and down a lot but is always exciting and always tries to knock someone out.
The problem is, he won't get that chance.
Maidana's chin isn't granite. But it's not Con like. Ortiz is a big puncher. The shots he dropped Maidana would of knocked down any 140 pounder. Difference between Maidana and Con is Maidana has shown he can get dropped by a big puncher and get back up to win. Con well he showed he can get back up too. Problem for him is he gets back up to get brutally knocked out
Oh no doubt i agree i just think Marcos Maidana's wide punching, will be a big problem. I see Amir Khan beating him to the punch, with his straighter, quicker, more accurate shots.
Again nothing would suprise me in this fight anything could happen, i still think Amir Khan has some big question marks to answer. And i think this will answer the question's right or wrong.
